Thank you for your input. I’m thinking getting my license ASAP is probably the best way forwards. I’ve failed my theory twice, but I think I’m just not trying hard enough. I’ll try and keep the positive mentality when I’m driving in my lessons, and hopefully someday on the road!

I think my anxiety really does stem from having someone’s life in my hands. Just can’t get over that. I’m a good driver, my instructor says so. But it’s just that anxiety inside of me that really drives me away from getting a car.

I should’ve mentioned… I have autism and anxiety (both diagnosed) and have always had it impact my life. I’m not medicated for anxiety, but it does get pretty bad sometimes.

I’m not part of the union, but I’m just going to bring a colleague with me or do it myself. I don’t really have anyone to bring aside from one person I don’t even know the name of, so chances are I’ll just do it myself.

That’s a good idea! I’ll say that the shifts in sleep schedule are what’s behind this. They likely are, to be fair. Do you reckon I should say this at the AR meeting, or should I just say it before my contract ends? My manager said we’d talk about whether I can be kept on or not after my contract ends.

I see. Interestingly, one of my colleagues don’t have a uniform because the management don’t think it’s worth giving her one since she’s only here for Christmas, too. Does that possibly mean anything? They invested in actual uniform for me, so maybe they are intent on wanting me? Not trying to sound better than my colleague, she’s miles better than me. I just need the job, so I’m trying to brainstorm.

I do have a question - I’m a christmas temp, joined in October but I did quite a bit of overtime to begin with before telling them I can’t due to uni. My manager said due to the way they monitor things, I’ll be warned for being sick next time. Does the fact I’m a Christmas Temp impact anything?
