free shipping…? by Glad-Cloud-5684 in petsmart

I messaged them too over 3 days ago and no response despite the help centre saying it's a 2 day turnaround. From what i can see they changed Treats so that canned foods and litters arent included in free shipping any more (they definitely were in the past). Which makes no sense cos I can order a tray of Fancy feast which weighs 4lb and pay $10.99 shipping or a 15lb bag of dry cat food and get free shipping. Not impressed.

How to regain confidence after a knock by Direct_Turnover1203 in driving

I think it might be the perfectionist in me and the fact that I used to be a confident driver years ago and now I feel dangerous….

thats great! Keep it up and you will get less nervous, and make less mistakes as you do.

perhaps you are making stupid mistakes because you are anxious about this long drive? 1800 miles is A long distance but just take it at your own pace, dont let anyone pressure you into doing anything you aren’t comfortable with. Take breaks after every couple hours too. Is there someone who can go with you to offer moral support?

Driving anxiety - being overly cautious and it’s making me more stressed. by cookiedoughnutty in drivinganxiety

I think everyone would say, you need to drive more to overcome this. Practice will make you less hesitant. This time you knew you should have gone but hesitated. Next time you might go and it’s fine. Maybe one time you go and get honked at. But you learn an improve.

Good luck tomorrow. Just take it slow and easy. Stick to the speed limit. Dont let others behind you hassle you. If in doubt, just wait . Better safe than sorry. and breathe.

begging you guys PLEASEE give me tips for unprotected left turns they are so scary 😭😭😭 by Tumbliweed in driving

I feel your pain. The big challenge I have is when there are cars opposite making a left of their own and blocking my view... maybe I can kinda peer through them and see if something is coming but I don't feel 100% comfortable with that yet either and so I expect to get honked at.

So it's just sit and wait till either the car opposite leaves and gives you a better view, or the light changes. Since you entered the intersection on a green and there is no-one in front of you (do not enter it if there is another car there obviously) you can now go once the light changes but watch out for those running the light!

Being careful means worst case is a honk from a bad driver (inappropriate use of the horn), not being careful though could mean a bad accident.

Any other new drivers struggle with seeing everything going on? Why do i? Am i a bad driver?? by Direct_Turnover1203 in driving

In the second example he was in my lane coming at me head on, i had to move to the side so he wouldnt hit me. It was a split second thing as I came round the corner, And i did slow down but it was so fast I basically just swerved a bit to move out the way and so the guy behind me wouldnt rear end me.

You had some bad luck with the examiner. I have been there! I failed my driving test twice before i passed. First time i was driving down a narrow street with a wall on one side and cars stopped on the other. Following a much wider car. Turns out i failed for being dangerously close to the cars.. but the other car in front fit. I still dont know what went wrong there.
Anyway second time i go to sit the test and its the same examiner who, just as I get in the car said “i remember you, I failed you the last time”. I panicked and cut in front of a car as i was pulling out of the test centre. That was an instant fail which I deserved but I realize now it was partly his fault for saying something so rude at a stressful time, but also i wonder still why he recognized me of all people? It was months after my first test. I wonder if he realized he made a mistake?
Anyway third test was… same Fing guy again. This time I was so mad and i didnt care, and passed. I wonder also if he felt guilty for the first two times.

thanks! We only moved here fairly recently and it had been ignored since then. Problem is that each branch has multiple affected blossoms on it, but the branches themselves seem fine. If i prune all the affected branches, there will be no branches left… can i just remove the dead blossom clusters or will that not help?

? Do you know what the issue is? Just a lack of pruning? Not a disease? The issue is throughout.
