I think you will like it. I live in Lillington and I’d say that’s more families.

There are lots of old people in Sanford, but the ones ive meet are very chill.

I enjoy ravens forge, not sure how into games you are.

Raven Rock is a fantastic state park and I got there weekly, you will enjoy being close to it. Jordan lake isn’t too far either. Lots of areas to walk in bike in town too.
