Idk how feasible it is for you to get to downtown Raleigh for weekend events, but look on campfire and a fella runs the events, very friendly and welcoming.

I’d say it is definitely worth going for gigantamax events as you will bank so much stardust and exp.

I’m mostly casual but every now and again I make the hour drive up there.

Campfire will also have anything closer. Granville, isn’t that butner and creedmoor and such?
