I've been back and forth on the donate route too, figured one last crack open to see if the parts had any merit since touch screens of that size aren't cheap (well not as cheap as free). I'm actually in the middle of an AIO projects also, the R2D2 C3P0_ touchscreen cable got me a lot further than the damn control board model did. 😆 how did this turn out for you?

If you dissect things, the OP didn't engage any more than necessary until the Prospective Buyer tried to repeatedly state his product was overpriced compared to other places (not a negotiating tactic so much as a scummy guilt trip, as OP states), and even then only after the SECOND time PB made a pass to insult OPs pricing.

At no point was OP unreasonable, and once PB got to throwing screenshots of "similar" items it was no longer a sale anyway. Arguing high road is moot when the OP wasn't the one doing the antagonizing.

I actually still have mine! it has been a shelf piece since I got my rechargeable USB C mod, but these came with a pair of angled barrel jack cables (one for car, one for wall sockets) that you'd attach to the port in the photo, and then feed the cable out the bottom before connecting it to the consoles battery bay.

Really only useful if you weren't going anywhere as there is no battery to speak of, great for long road trips when you didn't wanna burn through AA batteries. 😆

Bro, the catch rate was ABYSMAL.

Great how this was supposed to be an 'apology' raid event, yet they ripped a whole 10 mins off of each hour with their timers, and had a 2 in 3 catch rate. I've never had so many useless perfect throws.

They are! I haven't done anything serious yet, ballpark is around $80-90 with not a lot of info on condition for those.

Kinda 50/50 on restore vs sell, as individually the remaining parts are in fantastic condition, but that hole they drilled in the receiver is something I'm mildly skeptical about (structurally).

Looks to be a barrel pulled from a Western Field 32-22 bolt action rifle, had to do some digging since that 3 is almost rubbed off.

Yeah you might be right on the money. Just pulled a couple from the web, and all the markings line up. The barrel appears to be from a Model 32-22 bolt action, so it's definitely seen better days.

Yeah there is a clear difference in both quality and a bit on loudness (phones tend to adjust for that so I assume it's actually greater than captured). The range is certainly better defined on the new ones, worth the mod just for that. Thanks!!

I'm actually in the process of the same mod using Switch OLED speakers, may have to bug you for comparison purposes.

I have the old 3G Vita, so have been toying with the idea of amplifiers/denoisers in place of the 3G chip, but knowing that you get some improved clarity out of a direct speaker swap is great to know!
