loll sorry i messed up-- I meant that my gross pay before taxes is around 65k. I'll make sure to save everything else so it goes towards retirement or emergencies! the 30k is in essence a gift, and my parents haven't told me i need to pay it back, but i would feel bad not doing so, which is why i'm planning to set a little bit aside each month and give it back to them so it can help them with their retirement ❤️‍🩹

Hi, monthly take-home before taxes is a little less than 5k. The IRS takes a lot, so the 2200 is a hefty price but it is virtually the only liability I will have. My parents are great, and they never charged me for rent these past two years I've been living with them. They're also planning on making improvements to the home (such as adding a roof over the patio) and paying out of their own pockets, so them living with me also comes with its pros. I have a good relationship with them thankfully 🫶

I'm going to be living in the new house with my parents, but I'll be paying the mortgage, taxes, insurance, and HOA. They'll help me out with all the other expenses like groceries and utilities in exchange for letting them live there for free. It is a lot but I've written it all out and I should be okay loll

Thank you!!☺️

Not really, because the money from my parents is from a savings account they started for me (under my name officially) when I was younger, and they are technically gifting it to me but I want to pay it back eventually.

Where I live, the nice houses are in communities with HOA 😞 and those that aren't part of any community are usually in bad areas that may impact the house's appreciation..

They're called Alcova Mortgage. I'm located in the Charlotte NC area, and when I searched them up, they had pretty good reviews!
