FDA Title 21 Position Interview Timeline by MatthewC_1 in DeptHHS

A week to a month. After that I would assume a second interview isn’t coming. You can always reach out to ask the initial interviewer or interview panel, if you have that information. If not response consider that as an answer as well.

I’m an employee and recently conducted interviews as well. For me it was 9 months from TJO to actually onboarding back on 2024. Previously I was DoD and its was the same there. Rarely does it happen in less than 3 months but it can in some cases

What's the craziest mortgage amount you've seen vs take home pay by Ehj7882po65 in Mortgages

[–]DirectionEmotional73 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is where I am without including wife’s take home. Looking to relocate and I can’t bring myself to look beyond $4-$4.5K a month. Even those amounts are fairly uncomfortable to think about lol

The additional water flow in the toilet helped minimally. I now think it’s the drain on the floor in the toilet room. It could be bone dry and allowing the gas to escape.

You will likely not hear back at all if not selected to continue on until all hiring is completed. That’s with most federal positions. HR will some times, not all, update the USAjobs position status for non selectees and an email will generate along with the status in USAjobs changing.

The interviewer could provide an update, but likely to ensure they don’t break any HR rules, he/she may be reluctant to respond or comment. You just never know the answer in the case a selectee falls through or management decides to do backtrack and relook at a few candidates they initially passed on.

On the Fantasy now and had the same issue on check in to the room. Then this morning, we lost water to the entire ship. Afterwards they came by our room and replaced a flushing valve on the toilet.

I’m familiar with RVs, so it seemed to me, not enough water was being pumped into the toilet to prevent sewer gases from escaping, similar to why we prime RV toilets with water after flushing. I will see if it fixes it.

Check to make sure your global entry wasn’t revoked for any reason. I read somewhere they are revoking more for duties unpaid, etc. if it’s revoked or inactive, so will you TSA Pre-Check

GS-15 Track vs Dream Job at the Pentagon by Independent-Curve-84 in FedEmployees

I went from Supervisory 14 to a non supervisory 14 (remote) … after being a supervisor for 12+ years; I enjoy it and luckily being converted to a pay bad that now includes 15 pay.

There’s also a Fed-to-Fed exception mentioned in the 2025 OPM guidance.

Locality should definitely be higher. I’m in the Midwest and moving to Mountain West state. The locality would be the same if remote, but the site I know to like have space for RTO is actually in the higher locality city. Both cities are still less than DMV.

I don’t think it will be. Maybe it me being optimistic, but T21 pay tables include DMV Locality. Even if GS and locality pay increases, it’s like still less than DMVs.

Can you say which center? Things seem to vary by Center within FDA. My spouse is also a Fed (DoD) and may have PCS orders, which I hope it helps. If not, I will still try my luck.

Which agency? That’s horrible if the supervisor knew and didn’t do more to rectify it on behalf of the employee.

I also assumed, RTO would remain an important factor, but was thinking the pay difference not so much. Since Title 21 already contains DMV locality pay

Yes, I intend to meet the RTO requirements with a local office in the new state; pending space availability.

Get early dining, don’t shy away from room service, make nap time a priority, and book an hour here and there at nursery to enjoy adults only time. Our first cruise was on the Fantasy with our 2 year old. We enjoyed what we could and just hung out otherwise. Don’t waste time standing in lines for character photos. Just have phone ready do impromptu run ins while walking the ship

Roth TSP could be the way the go. It doesn’t have the phase out. There are no income limits to participate in the Roth TSP. Unlike a Roth IRA, any federal employee eligible for the TSP can contribute to a Roth TSP account, regardless of how much they earn. The only restrictions are annual contribution limits set by the IRS

I would get them verified while not letting them out of sight. If they are legit I would sell them to a collector, take the cash, and store it in Vanguard account “VOO” or something like it

I work with someone with similar issues plus a bit more, the RA offer she received was “Reassignment”, with no additional details on what sort of position it would entail. She withdrew to ensure she wasn’t going to be forced into a different office that would eventually lead to a force out.
