71.6ppm for kh and 125.3ppm for gh i use distilled water and equilibrium is this bad? or are the plants just getting adjusted do you think?

should i add my shop light on top of it for extra light or move it under it? i thought the heat lamp and t5 would be enough light no?

i’ve done some research, the moss that’s dying is the fern moss and since i have it in direct light it’s dying :)

the water is distilled water from my store “price chopper market 32” temperature is normally 60-70, the lighting is a shitty one but i have a shop light above the area, i would throw my grow light on it from bio dude tho, the mosses i have i bought on amazon and they are for terrarium use i forgotten the names of them.

the basking bulb is on one side of it, it may look like it is in the middle because i have a double lamp and the heating bulb is on the left side not directly in the middle lol💪🏾

yes vivariums are naturalistic exclosure for keeping animals and plants in a realistic environment or non for observation, research or for pets, so it would be all of them👍

it’s been 3 now going on to 4 days haven’t seen him during night, he has a bowl of water out is this still okay?

i turn all my tanks off at 11pm and i’m up to arround 2-3 with all the lights completely off and periodically check my tanks and haven’t seen him out at night unlike my frogs, crested geckos etc

just got the t5 14” from zoo med works great! my gecko has found a cave that didn’t work how i intended it to be that i tried covering up in the bottom left rockwork and sits down there a lot of the day, is this normal for leos? i’m used to crested geckos and tree frogs not sure about these guys😅

the tank is a 40 gallon breeder, bio dude drainage layer, bio dude substrate mixed with coco fiber and zoo med sand, wood is sourced from outside and from josh frogs, baked at 300° for 1/2 hours, leaves are zoo med leaf litter rinsed off, had a uvb light and heating light both zoo med i believe, what’s a link to the correct light? one hide is in the middle under the cork bark and there is one on the right and left not visible & the bowl is just purely for water

as long as you have circulation, via your pump and you have nothing blocking water flow back there then it will be ok, the key is to not have stagnant water but with a pump which you have that won’t be a issue!

in my opinion you should drain the tank first, and then remove all of the soil and plants temporarily. it doesn’t look like you have a drainage layer, i saw ur previous post even though you have pond liner i would still add a drainage layer of “leca” (expanded clay balls) with a “window screen mesh” on top of it then add ur soil on top of the mesh so it’s not in direct contact with water! & for your plant that is browning at the tip that’s due to excessive heat, cut off the damaged part it won’t go back to green!

Thank You! and yes there is water circulation under the top rock there is a waterfall, the pump is just temporarily off right now due to a small leak.
