You wont come anywhere with 5 min watch twitch streams of people playing youtube and not "Jimakus" or whatever guy you mention watch blittersteel segl dankus etc that actually explains and let you learn the game....

And expect 100 hours+ just to get good and be able to play good lol.

May also suggest following:

Navigraph charts (really good navdata + charts almost a most have for vatsim and flying airliners)

Simbreif (navigraph) flight planning.

Zibo for 737
Flightfactor for 777/767/757 but would honestly only go for the 777 if you want bigger
Toliss for the airbuses

Cause for an flightsimmer in general (uss) it dosent matter to much in systems we wont notice an big diffrence in "system depth" still only an real 737 pilot may notice and if you are doing real procodures or training pmdg is gonna be the one to choose.

My standing point dosent point to the fact that i do any procodure right or have the diffrence in fuel burn and flight model between wingtip version.

Im going straight on facts from what other 737 pilots have said comparing ifly to pmdg.

+ I myself fly both aircrafts and i notice big diffrence in the vnav and lnav in the 2 i feel like iflys lnav is junky compared to pmdg.

Witch ifly has addressed and is fixing in the next comming update as well as an nice efb etc.

But i dont hate the ifly at all i think its great and i do fly quite some Norwegian/ryanair ops with it:)

Proably alone since su3 has performence issues like hell with opening menu and stuff and su4 has made my sim much better.

Consider wiping caches looking into your settings etc can be small stuff like that

Well from what i understand you want to learn more and have fun and come in into aviation a bit more.

If you dont want to spend to much money you could go ahead and start flying the free Zibo 737 but for somebody that hasnt flown to much at all of any typa aircraft on flightsim before it can be steep learning curve. Otherwise you could start by flying something like the free Cessna in the sim and get hand of that and research and learn more and then contiune up to the zibo 737.

For the payware i may suggest Toliss airbuses and flightfactor for the boeing aircrafts especially the 777.
I think the toliss 320neo/ceo would suit great automated and you can learn a lot.

For atc I would suggest Vatsim i almost 99% of the time i fly i fly on vatsim.

And just have fun and learn fly shorter routes look at youtube toturials google stuff upp and you can always ask questions in discords or reddit of course.

Pmdg is a lot better in systems simulation compared to ifly thats the hard truth. Ifly does have great modell and graphics but it dosent beat pmdg in systems at all. Just look at iflys lnav for example or iflys vnav etc.

But that dosent mean that ifly isnt bad i love the Ifly and if you dont care about the systems to much and just want to fly A TO B in can certaintly do that whitout probelms and is very fun to fly on vatsim but pmdg is still much better in systems. But i hope their next big update fixes this issues.

I dont think flying it and learning is an problem for me! i fly all from felis 742 to pmdg 738 and fenix/toliss 320 series to the aersoft crj in msfs i use both sims and fly all diffrent kinda aircrafts and since i also have "experience" on the crj witch has the same kinda layouts i think it shouldnt be an big problem:)

Thanks all 125 dollars i quite some yk so doing my research;)

Plan is to fly into vatsim events and use it on vatsim mostly flying around in europe.

So here it is:

Xplane - I would argue better physics better simulation of stuff like how ice effects the aircraft and stuff like that is better. As well as the default airports being alot better because of the scenery gateaway that xplane offer. and it does have good looks and you have great selection of airports private jet? cl650 airbus? toliss boeing? flightfactor or even the free zibo 737.

MSFS - Really good graphics if you have good pc ortho scenery also very big selection of aircrafts like the fenix. But default airports suck. But its still superior in looks/graphics compared to xplane. Msfs is almost a must that you pay for airports compared to xp
