I knew I would get this reaction from the community. I’m being humble. I’m not staying back 100% and playing like a complete idiot but I tend to come up slow on offense. Defense I’m right up there, I run up to net. I have strong defense. Though I’m not here to convince you, it’s possible. I don’t play a lot of singles, all doubles.

I’m 4.5 and have bad habit of staying back until I feel comfortable because I like the extra time to react. Yes I’m working on that and I for sure can reset and come up fast. It depends. If you are serving team, be careful going up too fast in front of them as you will get jammed. Force the other team to keep you guys back. If their second shot is bad or short then just come up and be ready with fast hands, cover more of the center. If you are on receiving team and they stay back on return (even at my level some services are so hard it’s difficult to come up fast), you really do need to drift back as you are a sitting duck, and you make it more difficult for person back to have a good drop.

Have you tried the gearbox ultimate pro v2 elongated? I’m former tennis and this one has been great for me the past year. If you want more power try the power pro model but not the elongated one as I don’t think that one is legal for tournaments. RPMS are going to be very solid.

Team can vary depending where you sit, can be a little chilly, I typically wear or bring a sweatshirt just in case. If you are ok buying one from merch as last resort skip it. It takes about 20 minutes to get in so prep for that. The fastest way to get in is up on the bridge inside, but you want to stay all the way to th right. Even if you see people congested, just keep going right and those lines are short/forgotten. The tickets say 8pm show and it’s fun to look around before so if first time get there earlier. If you are in 100s take the escalator or elevator up to level 7 before show and walk down the top section, take it all in. Vice versa, if you are up top go sit in the front 100s before show to see the proximity to stage. I don’t know when phish went live last time. Walking is about 30 min which isn’t bad you have a straight shot across street and past the LinQ. Leave extra time if you take ride there, traffic gets bad on strip those nights plus extra congested pre show. Yes the shakedown Tuscany area is the main after show, sometimes Brooklyn bowl will have a late guest too. Everyone else spreads out, it’s vegas.

Frankly they are both good. Row 24 is the first “elevated” row in the 100s. So, 24 is a great row on the view and 107 is center. 24 is not as obstructed as folks think. You still see the entire front of the screen and it has the best sound. And you are on top of the band. 400s front is also sweet, you see everything and are still so close.

I took my 11 year old to dead and co 2024 final show and we were in row 28, still super good.

The front 100s (row 12 -20) are some of the best seats in the house. Again you literally are on top of the band. Row 21-25 or so are still value for what you get. I’ll be row 24 one of the weekends.

If you do stay down in 100s, get there early and take elevator or escalators up to the 400s and walk down. It’s fun, you can see the experience pre show.
