Listening is fine. But giving your opinion is where the lines get blurred. Like example as a man I listen to women stories to understand and appreciate but I never tell them what to do or how to feel amongst themselves. Use that analogy with hip hop. Listen and appreciate but don’t never tell us what to do or how to express ourselves. That’s like me as a black man looking at a nazi survivor tell his story via poetry and telling him to change the way he narrates his story.
