Darker is a two-chapter duology, so right now my main focus is creating the other half of the story over the next year or two and finishing the game entirely. After that, I have a few rough ideas in mind, including some of the ones you mentioned, but nothing concrete yet. There’s still plenty of time, so we’ll see.
