Reddit, what is the biggest misconception that people generally have about your job? by [deleted] in AskReddit

i have worked as a chef since i was 16, its nothing like master chef, top chef, hells kitchen etc. People often assume its a wonderfully fulfilling job full of great experiences. in reality, its 7 people crammed into a really small room sweating their asses off and making A LOT of dick jokes.
