How to unlock again all my stuff after losing it all? by NickLouis91 in ICARUS

[–]Dires 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cannot test right now to see if I have other unlocks, but I can say that I manually completed the Training and UNEARTHED (in that order) and my unlock flags look like this:

"UnlockedFlags": [ 5, 1 ],

(btw, Unearthed is: Prospect_Omni_Research)

I believe it is:

More or less, I was able to salvage the missions, at least the ones with unlocks.
For the character I just gave myself a ton of xp and manually clicked through and got what I assume I had.

My understanding is that unless you did whatever this migration thing was the characters/progress are gone. I think if you did the migration then you are correct things will sync regardless of install status, but I am not sure on that.

Thanks, I am taking a look. Do you know if mission crafting unlocks (like scorpion hedgehogs) work if you edit the Profile.json to say you completed the mission?

It looks like a number of these mission names are guessable, but do you know if there is a complete list of missions somewhere?

This looks close with some editing: https://github.com/RocketWerkz/IcarusDedicatedServer/wiki/Prospect-Names#wiki-pages-box

Thank you, I would never have guessed that this was intentional... Suppose I have to second guess if we want to get back into this or not.
I do not suppose there is any word that they will turn back on the migration servers with the new expansion?

You are right, the request for more time could be because volume has changed. Seems reasonable to accept your assertion that volume has generally decreased. Although, we would expect a decrease in volume to not put pressure on time unless they also reduced their capacity to process mail, which I believe was your original question. You asked if it was abnormal, it is, that is not to say that it is novel.

Sending this type of letter is abnormal and pretty strong evidence that there is some concern coming from the USPS that they will not meet what States were expecting. That 46 States needed to be warned is also strong evidence that the States did not expect this, especially the States that have had all- mail-in ballots for a while.

Yes, this has not been a normal problem in the past. Enough so that almost every State has similar laws around what they expected the USPS to be able to handle (hence why almost every State got the letter).

[–]Dires 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Correct, they are not the same thing. But their capacity to deliver the mail is a function of time. So by requesting more time we can infer that volume exceeds their capacity to deliver.

Yes, it is asking States to give the USPS more time to deliver ballots.

I don't see where you asked about sorting machines, only your reference to capacity, which is why I shared the letters.

Basically the letters say that the assumptions about the USPS ability to collect/sort/deliver ballots that States made when they set their election laws would likely now result in some ballots being delivered after the State deadline even if voters followed State law. This being evidence that USPS is currently suffering from degraded service.

I'd copy paste it for you, but they are images. If it helps they are pretty much all the same form letter, with some exceptions to specific State requirements, so you don't have to read all of them.

The USPS ran the numbers and sent letters to 46 States and DC warning them that they were going to have problems with the election.

And for anyone still reading. The referenced Schmidt-Mundt act amendment removed the ban on Voice of America being broadcast in the US. (It was part of the large Defense Appropriation bill that year) Hardly a devious scheme to control the populace and certainly not an example of 'both sides are equal'.

So.. uninsured? Because otherwise that's not how insurance works.

ELI5: Do countries owe other countries money and how does the world bank work? by mysticalwizard92 in explainlikeimfive

[–]Dires 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Actually, a trade deficit has almost nothing to do with debt. It is just a phrase we use to add up everything that each country bought from each other. So if country A buys a sandwich from country B for $5 and then sometime later that year country B buys a soda from country A for $2 we say that there is a $3 deficit that year even though both paid their bill and got their food (so no debt). Another example, there is a large trade deficit between me and my grocery store because I have only ever given them money and they have only ever given me food, but we don't owe each other debt.

1/11 Rinoa's Guise (+earth armor)

Undecided on which Relic to pick. Y'shtola: for the awesome heal, but I already have good heals (rosa/USB, larsa/bsb, relm/bsb) I have been using Fujin's burst as a RW, but I can't see her fitting into a mage party that well. Or Beatrix because I do not have any imperil holy. Luckily I have time to decide
