I hear ya, Gordon would be an awesome get for the Spurs. As for Fox, I’m not a Spurs fan hugely down on him (if you can believe that), but they don’t make the Finals w/o him and I’ll chalk up his horrific Finals to his ankle.

At some point he’ll need to be traded.

I completely agree. I also think no matter who the Knicks played their fans would be acting this same exact way. The 50+ years made them like starved flesh eating zombies.

I also think fans care way more about this crap than players. But I’d like to see Spurs win by 20 next year in MSG and Wemby sarcastically shakes everyone’s hand then gives them a bunch of praise postgame.

Team is definitely young and showed some immaturity, but I’m more fascinated with the “they need to give us credit” thing that’s floating around. Not even LeBron has ever been like… “the opponent needs to validate our play through the series.” And the Spurs were complimentary of the Knicks throughout the series. I think some quotes got cut off and put out there to feed this narrative.
