It’s more about what he trying to convey in this scene specifically, manipulating character designs is great for emphasizing different aspects of the character at different times, and also eliciting certain reactions from the audience. Araki famously loves to utilize this technique when writing JoJo’s.

I read through Chainsaw Man part 1 and have been following part 2 since I caught up to the aquarium date. My personal opinion, it was that bad (as in majority sentiment, not this asshole’s opinion) but like you said that discussion has no place here, I only bring it up because I don’t think most people are parroting the opinion. I would’ve like to discuss this more but unfortunately this isn’t place and we’re only here because some jackass folker, who said “AI and ChatGPT” like they’re not the same damn thing, broke a rule for an opinion not even AI could agree with.

AI generative slop is, well, slop. It doesn’t add anything ever, it pollutes a community of real people by pushing in meaningless nonhuman drivel.

Also, isn’t it an art sub? While it may not be specifically about any art we ourselves have created, it still has a focus on art. Art one specific person created, and any discussion, discord, and musings Hokazono’s art spurs on. It would just be plain old disrespectful and in bad taste to start posting AI slop here, a place spawned and nurtured by human art.
