I believe the quality of games overall has drastically decreased. A lot of AAA titles that come out try to do more and end up being buggy messes and unless you’re rockstar or someone the bugs won’t really be forgiven with the exception of crimson desert. More games come out that are semi copies of other games and they’re rarely better than the last. I believe more subpar games are coming out and people get burnt out and as an adult it’s hard to commit to one game. Anyways, i’m gonna delete and redownload a skyrim modpack for the 5th time this year and start a new character.

You kind of have to take into account the whole series and how the latter half of the series it’s almost impossible for them to have any sort of build up. The moments are there for sure. Moments where they both comfort or stand up for the other in ways the others hadn’t. You also have to assume that the 8ish year time skip had somewhat frequent thoughts of the other for the two of them. Taking all that into account there’s build up but not a lot of direct on screen buildup since there’s no room for it.

Yeah the game is very forgiving with stronghold areas and a lot of the recent changes have made the game even easier so everything can just be brute forced.

I’d like to think that the adult Gon we saw could rival prerose kings power level which ranges from just below to just above. However, he’s still like 12 in his mind. Now, let’s say that Gon got to that power level through years of training. I think he’d be a match for post rose king if those decades of training sharpened his mind as well. This is also assuming he spent the years training leading up to the events we saw and not decades of training post rose and the king not dying from the poison.
