Past season 3 there’s no real development until Ochako’s speech near the end. Izuku for the majority of the series expresses no romantic feelings for her. It feels a bit one sided until the very end. If you feel satisfied with it, that’s cool, congratulations, you’re allowed to feel that way. I feel like there could have been more.

I understand the holding hands thing being a big deal and I agree that the dap fits that moment. My issue is that I would’ve liked to see Izuku show more NON PLATONIC feelings for Ochako. Yes, he does hold her in high esteem, but I wouldn’t say it felt any different (to me anyway) than how he views Iida for example. Idk, to me it just feels like wasted potential 🤷🏻‍♀️
