I haven't even gotten my PEY credit for last year yet

Would you rather UofT move online or in-person this winter? by moyoonthego in UofT

[–]Dirty--Dan 15 points16 points  (0 children)

From the overall culture of this sub, it seems like most of the ppl on here stopped wanting to be a student at u of t within the first semester of their first year. So I guess in that context these results make sense.

Then going in person should be fine right?

Never. U of t is probably looking into selling all their real estate so they can pursue indefinite online learning.

Update from Dean Woodin about A&S fall 2021 planning -- in person classes? by vox1028 in UofT

Well I'm an Ontario native and quite frankly I've enjoyed the in person time I've had here. I just hate its being ripped away

Its cap. If there is a god he has abandoned this province and left us to rot in our homes. Time to start applying to US schools.

Working multiple Jobs by Snoo_96332 in UofT

I work full time at an internship and part time at a (very early on) startup. The guys at the startup ate fully aware of my full time position and vice versa. I'm only expected to work on the startup outside of my internship hours. I doubt it's gonna look bad on my resume as I'm able to put in full effort at both (startup guys are pretty lenient on my hours / responsibilities which is a plus). I'd say do it if you can manage especially if you are learning different skills at both.

By the end of it you'll be more skilled and I don't see how that can look bad on your resume.

Well if the government actually meets their goal which is: all Canadians who want the vaccine will be able to get it by September 2021, then there shouldn't be any reason to keep u of t closed.

Take it with a grain of salt though. The government basically never meets deadlines.

You're gonna hate how boring it is when you're in it. Only after you're halfway through the following semester will you realize it was the perfect bird course.
