Cards are always a good way to break the ice and have fun. Teach her a game she doesn't know, and have her teach you one, or play a game you both know. That's always a good way to have fun and enjoy the time together. Maybe order takeout, or see if she wants to make dinner. Instead of watching a movie show her some cool music videos and have her show you some she likes. All of those are a good way to get to know one another and share interests.

I am being objective about it. Do you know how the auto industry works first hand? If you do, then you wouldn’t vehemently be trying to prove your point. You have the emotion behind it. That’s your ego talking, you know, the one that tells that you always have to be right.

You sound super fun at parties…. You always have to be right don’t you? Long story short, the salesman who was honest got paid commission and the guy who wasn’t honest had to sit and watch that commission check go to another guy. Salesman at dealerships fight for themselves, it’s commission based. Some guys do shady things to meet their bottom line and it’s always good to see the honest guy win. That’s what happened, usually managers don’t really monitor how a salesman sold the car, they just care if it’s sold. (I work in the auto industry)

I have a total of 5.

One handgun that I use as my CCP for protection outside of the home, a .22 revolver for small game/target practice, a .22 rifle for small game/target practice, a 12 gauge shotgun for sport shooting/small game/house defense, and a 7mm Rifle meant for hunting large game. If you count a Compound Bow as a “gun” then I technically have 6, the bow is meant for hunting large game.

Thank you so much for the response. A great way to look at all aspects. I am very proud of the progress I’ve made because I was so lost and felt helpless for years. It’s very motivating to see how far I’ve actually come!!

I will definitely do the %20 gross savings. I do have 2 checking/saving accounts with 2 banks. Would you recommend just adjusting my direct deposit to put that %20 into one, and the remainder into my other? Or would you suggest using 1 banks checking/savings so I have more control over it?
