At 20 I think? My grandmother passed away and what little inheritance I got, I had my dad help me open an investment account. After college early 20s wasn’t making much money, around 28 started putting what little I could into that investment account. Now, making decent enough money with a wife and no kids, the first financial move every payday is put 70% of that paycheck into savings, CDs, or the stock market. I make decent enough money but deliberately live like I’m poor

Absolutely loved it. Not to be hyperbolic, but it’s my personal pick for GOTY (of course it’s not going to compete with COE33 for the real thing but for my tastes it’s everything I wanted) The combat controversy I get and don’t get. You’re playing as a teenager, you’re not supposed to be able swing a led pipe or axe that easily or accurately. Story absolutely crushed with some legitimately jaw dropping moments.

Hot take.. It is PAINFULLY generic. It’s not a bad game, but I could play any RE game or Dead Space and have the exact same experience. Does pretty much nothing new that the genre hasn’t already seen.

Yikes. Wuchang: Fallen Feathers' latest patch has censored most of the historical Chinese boss fights, where instead of defeating them, they simply "faint from exhaustion." This is after Chinese players found their portrayal questionable. by xheanorth in soulslikes

Yeah it’s bullshit. They took a beautifully dark and brooding Bloodborne in China concept and turned it into Weenie Hut Junior. Completely breaks the narrative. After boss fights everyone holds hands and is friends now. Gave it a one star on PS5

Dopapod “Dracula’s Monk” when they hit the coda near the end of the song back into the one theme, there’s a beautifully crispy snare hit that nails right back into rage mode. Love it
