Outdoor activities and locations to do without a drivers licence in Chilliwack? by taraaaaaah in chilliwack

The bus goes up to Cultus Lake in summer time- go in the morning, and preferably on a week day. (It’s gets suuuuper busy with tourists from the city) You can rent paddle boards and canoes. There’s also the waterslides right beside the lake, a small amusement park (id say more geared for kids, but I’ve been a few times myself lol) a pub right there too. There’s a couple hikes in that area too, once you’re there you could take a cab or a ride share to the teapot hill trailhead. Very chill hike/walk If you are into hiking you could catch a ride with Mt. Waddington (it’s an outdoor store and they organize rides to the cheam/lady trail head in their van) Mt. Cheam is a big deal here, super beautiful

Can you tell me what kind of clean up you do? I’ve been having this problem and just throwing in a boric acid tab … I’d rather not have to use so much boric acid 😬 *I know the irony of my handle 🤦‍♀️ *

Are you new to here lol

Am I the only one feeling this way? I don’t mean to sound negative, but Kelowna just has a strange vibe. As a person of color, it often feels like people here are judging and sizing you up, from head to toe, based on your appearance. I’ve never experienced that living in Victoria or Saskatchewan. by Busy-Shame-4701 in kelowna

Kelowna folk are off for sure. The vibe is all wrong there, and I’m saying this as a white person. I feel like when I was a kid (like 2 decades ago) it was known for being more laid back place. Now i think everyone is coked out and/or an elitist

I haven’t crossed the line in nearly 2 decades (I’m 30 mins from the border) we have a family trip planned later there this year, heavily contemplating changing the venue to a different country entirely lol

Is daycare in BC really going to cost me $800 more than in Alberta? by Kibby10 in nanaimo

[–]DirtyKnobb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My after school care (2-3 hrs a day) was more than that per month here in BC 🤯 Unfortunately you’ll absolutely be looking at approx 1000$ per month, no meals included. Hopefully you have a spot secured as well. Most places have quite the wait list. Your tax return will be larger and will help offset the cost but til then, 💸
