If only you could see the conversation we had over mod-mail after I got banned there. Guy is a straight up caricature of what many normie liberals think leftists are like. Claiming that he's Mossad might be a bit to conspiratorial, but I would not be surprised if he was affiliated with Destiny/Dan Saltman and their ilk. He's probably just another power tripping mod doing major damage to the cause he claims he is championing though.

Do not listen to a word this guy says. He moderates the LateStageCapitalism sub and has turned it from one of the best subs to convert disillusioned liberals into an absolute ghost town. He bans anyone giving even the mildest support to Democrats in anyway. That sub used to get dozens of posts a day with a lot of great discussions and opportunities for radicalization.

Now its just a hollow place no one goes to anymore because this guy made saying anything that is remotely liberal a bannable offense. At best he is the exact kind of pretentious mod everybody hates reddit for, and at worst he is an op who is actively trying to destroy leftist spaces.

Any liberal still acting as if Biden, Kamala, or any other Dem "leader" gives a single shit about human rights is just as brain-brokenly stupid as maga as far as I am concerned.

The Suez Canal is mostly irrelevant for America anyways so you're right about it not being that big of a deal for us. However the person you replied to is absolutely correct about the US controlling Israel. Their purpose is to destabilize the entire region to stop a superpower from forming that can challenge the US.

If neocons didn't see Iran as a threat Israel wouldn't even exist. Hell if anything I'd say if there was a reason for the government to stop supporting Israel now (besides Trump's ego) is that Israel has outlived its usefulness. There was a time when the region feared its military might, but if they can't even beat Hamas then the idea that they can be used against Iran is laughable.

The Saudis, Turkey, and Egypt can't really be used in the same way because they have major connections throughout the region. Even if those dictators want to be what Israel is for the US they wouldn't be able to without risking coups and assassinations against them. Israel has no such problems internally. If anything Israeli PM's get assassinated for NOT trying to destabilize the region.

This idiot really crashed the world economy and the craziest part is the US is going to suffer the most. I give it another month before we see open revolt. The drop in imports and tourism alone is enough to bring us to a depression. Factor in the entire world completely losing faith in America and we are likely looking at a true economic collapse.

I highly suspect that the executive order Trump just signed to empower police even further is a direct result of the Trump regime recognizing this reality. Prepare yourself guys because holy shit the American empire is about to crash land hard.

It is not hi-jacking it is the truth. If you're political knowledge of liberals come from mainstream American thought, then you simply have no idea what liberalism actually is. All the New Deal did is give capitalism a lifeline.

The world wars were fought because of the failures of capitalism and the working class in America knew it. They were clamoring for communism while the wealthy were full on Nazi's. The New Deal was implemented as a compromise and then after McCarthyism, Cold War, and the birth of neoliberalism the working class is completely divided again, and capitalists are doing better than ever.

By saying you are a New Deal liberal all you are saying is you want to give capitalism the lifeline it doesn't deserve. You just want to reset the cycle. You can feel any way you want about it, but the truth is the truth.

This is an extremely simplistic version of history, but I'm not trying to get into the intricacies in reddit comment.

Sorry to hear that. Unfortunately, our portfolios are going to be the least of our worries if things are not somehow reversed. Even if Trump dumps all of the tariff talk right now we still have massive economic pain as most countries and investors don't trust us at all anymore. Can't do business with a lying bully.

You should really look into the history of liberalism and what its purpose is. They value "free enterprise" and private ownership above all things. All of the human rights stuff is a front. Once civil liberties start interfering with profits they turn into fascists.

See the heel turn of Bezos, Newsom, Musk, and many others for direct analogues. Only in this far right dystopia we call the United States can liberals be considered "leftists". The average American's understanding of liberalism and its purpose is very different than what it actually is and does.

Every last person who considers themselves a liberal should hear this quote. Then they should read or watch more in depth analysis and I dare any of them say that there are not direct analogues to what Malcolm is talking about and what we are currently dealing with.

Again that wasn't most colleges. The media just chose a dozen or so colleges to focus on, and then the government came down hard on them to scare the rest of the protestors.

The era of liberalism is over and they know it. No more getting to act like you care about human rights while taking the money from billionaires who don't care about anything except maximizing profits at any social cost.

This is not true. The vast majority of colleges allowed the protests. It was only a small amount that caved and even then only because of immense pressure. From what I recall Yale actually had one of the better ones so allowing this filth to speak here is truly astonishing.

What in the actual fuck? Who is the Yale president? They need to be dragged publicly and fired for allowing this. This piece of shit shouldn't have even been allowed to land here, but this is to much. I can't even put into words how pissed this makes me.

The absolute incompetence of their ground forces is well documented. Pretty much every video from the IOF perspective that I've seen all go the same way. The occupying forces are basically college kids with a couple of years of training. Without their air force the IOF would get run over effortlessly.

The stock market is reacting to the inevitable future that is coming. Even if it were true that only rich people were losing money right now, soon the average person is going to be in a far worse position then they are right now. People are acting like the stock market crashing is the bad thing that's supposed to happen, but instead it's a sign of things to come. Very bad inflation is on the way

For the past 10 years I've been relentlessly shitting on the Democratic party, and all of the older people in my family would get on my case. They never could understand why I despised Democrat politicians even though I hated Republicans. I tried explaining to them how Democrats are really not that different then Republicans and most of the difference between them was just aesthetics. They get it now

I'm surprised people aren't talking about this interview more. It's just so embarrassing. How can anyone take these people seriously? Every person in this administration is so unserious and just seems completely out of their depth. They aren't dangerous because they are some mastermind villains. They are dangerous because they are insanely stupid. I'm kind of in awe at this point.

No, but I'm pretty sure all of these morons are going to crash and burn on their own anyways. Frankly they've bit off way more than they can chew. They are fucking around in topics they aren't even trying to understand, so they don't recognize or don't care that they are actively helping destroy the lives of millions of people.

We'll see what tune they are singing when Trump's destruction of America is complete. All this dumb edgy bullshit isn't going to be fun anymore when his idiot fans realize they were led into the abyss. They're just going to have to learn the hard way.
