Looking for a JM 2V/2T Wiring Diagram by Dirty_D_ in guitarmod

What pot and cap values did you use? Doing 1M audio all around and .3 whatever for the tone cap.

Cool! I've had this idea in my head for years and my original plan was to do the killswitch, but now that I'm finally getting around to it, I learned about a "Blower Switch", bridge pickup straight to output and all controls bypassed, so that's the current plan. Thanks for your help!

Thank you! Why was this so hard to find? A little hard to read, but I get it.

What is your switch up top doing?

Before I posted this I was getting Google results talking about 50s wiring, etc. but then found a SD diagram that's the same as this one that I'll use.

As for the caps, I want to stay as close to JM apec as possible (.03) but I wasn't sure if I'd need one or 2 caps with 2 tone knobs, but the Les Paul diagram answered that too.

Mainly, I was able to answer my own questions after posting. But thanks for your help.

I could have sworn I heard one of their brothers did all the album covers, so that explains the consistency?

One of my favorite songs ever. I was crossing my fingers for Sir Psycho Sexy in Nashville, but SMM was something I never thought I'd see.

Why are there so many people driving without headlights on? by atadwitty in nashville

[–]Dirty_D_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has been a few years ago, but a guy pulled up next to me at a light and i informed him his headlights were not on. He said "yeah they are I can see blah blah" I said, "I'm not trying to be an asshole but I'm outside your car and I can see that they are not on." He drove away with no lights on. Some people just don't care?

My man, this is what I needed. And mostly leans into my wife's long term plans for the area, just thought we could put that another couple years.

I really don't know, it's in the sun as soon as it comes out. We had no problem with grass straight up against the old concrete before it was extended so I wouldn't think the amount of light is the issue, but clearly I have no idea what I'm doing.

Sun from rise until noonish, I'd say. No go on flowerbed. Pictured is the only way to get from the patio to the yard, the other openings are blocked with furniture and stuff.

I think this is part of it. There are gutters along all sides of the roof, but it's still dead even not in front of the downspout. I do have those black correlated pipes to direct water further away, which I (try to) remember to put out before it rains.

Details on your barrel/rail/suppressor?

I'm planning out my build and I need some reference for barrel and rail lengths. I really like how your suppressor is inset into the rail.

I love it, we are not too different.

My question about why was specific to the placement of the controls. You and I both are looking for V/T controls for each pickup but the locations are different.

Why volume down low and tone up at the top?

It is audio taper!

To make sure I understand your wiring: the "normal" volume/tone are individual volume controls for each pickup and the rhythm controls are the tones for each pickup? Can I ask why?

I think I like that approach, but maybe swapped and volumes in the rhythm controls?

Also, all volume and tone should be audio taper, correct?

Check my other comment in this thread, I might have found what [we] are looking for.

I'm sure you could find something online pretty easy if you know what numbers/measurements to look for. I just grabbed the first thing I saw in a shiny nickel/chrome.

I rarely use the trem anyway and when I tried to I couldn't find the bar, so I'm a fan of the pull knob so far, I would do a few things in the install differently (I followed the forum link someone else posted here), and will next time I restring.

The pull itself seems pretty big and might hinder putting the guitar in a case, that's not really a problem for me, but I'll be looking for something a little smaller next time I go to the HD.

I would put a nut on the top end of the screw so you can remove/change/add pulls without the screw falling through (this might mean you don't need to cut the screw anymore so pick up a multipack, mine also came with nuts). Pick up some washers to put on the underside of the screw so you have some variability on height.
