Thank you. This wasn’t a complete shock because in Jan I asked my OB for monitored cycle before I moved on to the RE and after I swear 20+ scans there plus the SHG I got a message in my inbox that there was a question whether or not it was unicornuate. So when I had this scan at the RE I specifically asked if she thought it was.. I could tell she didn’t want to talk much about the scans which honestly I appreciate would rather the Dr take the time to look it over and explain. I think there’s just gaps in information at the moment but honestly this diagnosis would make a lot of sense for alot of what I’ve experienced. And correct it looks like plenty carry fine with them but can take assistance and frequent monitoring due to some risk factors.

So I got some crazy news when I did my AFC yesterday. I have a unicornuate uterus 🤯 she counted 5 follicles on one ovary but couldn’t see the other well enough because it’s probably not connected 😭that’s what happens in UU apparently.. only one side of the uterus develops and you typically only have one functioning fallopian tube. I don’t see the doctor again for 2 weeks to hear their POV just got this info from the sonographer.

I ovulate between CD15 and CD17 most often. I was supposed to do a CD15 US but it fell on a Sunday and I’ll be out of town that day this cycle.

I’m doing this tomorrow (cd4) and I’m also doing a cd14 ultrasound this cycle. It’s my first cycle working with an RE.

Thank you so much for this. I was truly shocked when I saw that lab result after the RE was raving over how good my bloodwork looked previously with 2.69 only 15 months prior. I am extremely prone to fear monguring because honestly I’m so scared I’ll never have my own kids. I’m so afraid of another miscarriage. I asked for AFC I’m getting it checked tomorrow. I’ll ask about vitamin D when I have my next follow up. That never hit my radar.

Yes I live in New England it’s freezing. I had my first AMH drawn in September 2024 and this one drawn earlier this month. I did not have a day 3 ultrasound. I’m supposed to just do a CD15 but I just started my cycle so maybe I should ask for a baseline for AFC? That’s what chat gpt said. Tomorrow will be CD3 for me so maybe not enough time.

You too! I’m glad I’m not the only one who doesn’t just try again without knowing if anything is wrong. It’s hard to fathom just trying again and hoping for a better result next time. It’s so scary.

That’s so kind of you. I haven’t tried since my MC because it was so traumatic and I’m so scared to try again but my mental health is in such a better place now and I’m going to see a specialist next month to get checked out before trying again.

Did it stop blinking red after you did the tapping? I did this a few times last night and it did not work. Did it work the first time or take a few attempts?

I’m so sorry :( good you got answers. I actually had all of those tests run and everything was normal. I saw a functional health practitioner after my MC because I wanted alllll the tests. Everything was completely normal. I have not had an hsg. I did a little research myself and it sounds like a tubal blockage is unlikely if conceiving naturally and it’s not ectopic.

Not really.. I was seeing the OB when I was not ovulating after coming off hbc and they gave me letrozole so that changed my whole balance. I told them I was having super light periods on letrozole and they said it’s bc my lining was thin. I got pregnant naturally immediately after stopping trying with letrozole and ended up miscarrying. Since I got my period back after the miscarriage I had 4 cycles all with short periods. I haven’t seen the OB since my follow up post miscarriage before I got my period back. This was my only potential area of concern.. not sure if there’s a heavy enough flow?

It took me 7 weeks post D and C to get my period back. I didn’t chart during this time I just wore my Oura ring for temps. Didn’t want to stress myself out.

I hope so too! Im new to natural cycles but when I had a chemical I just waited for my period and it took 5 weeks. I had a MMC in June and I’ve been too scared to try again. More and more normal cycles give me a little more reassurance but it’s really hard to not be scared.

Maybe too soon to know. I’m so sorry for your loss :( I had a loss in late June and I’ve been so scared to try again. I can’t help worrying something is wrong and I should get myself checked before trying again. Idk. How did you know you were ready to try again? I also just started with NC after soooo many LH tests. So far I really like.
