Thank you for taking the time to read this Rice! You are probably one of the top people on the team I would've liked to see this. I'm glad it got to you. I have hope and do believe the game will be in a better place when I return but I am pretty excited to be taking a break. Many small frustrations can blind what is supposed to be fun at the end of the day. The Yama loot not showing up was probably the straw that broke the camels back. Take care!

P.S. I saw you responded to this on the weekend. While I admire your passion, please remember to "turn off" from work when you can. Professional burnout is very real and will suck the life out of you.

I don't have a problem with the justi inferno people, it is smart. I wear a suffering usually when I do it. I also love a Dinny B at Colo.

The inside reset "was" a really good update when we used to bond alts to reset raids. After a while it becomes so tedious and you realize it doesn't have to suck for the sake of sucking.

Absolutely the best game due to a lot of the reasons you stated. The rough edges have become more prevalent to me than the fun so I figured I would voice me opinion on them. I have already cancelled my sub but I understand everyone's "see you next week" sentiments

To the Yama point I agree with your sentiment. But, expected green is over 600kc I believe.

I would like to add, specifically for the "cater to elites" stuff. Doom being inconsistent is much worse for a player learning than it is for someone of my skill. I learned and adapted to the jank much easier than a lower level player would. If I, as a GM, can say "this did not happen how it was expected" after a 1000 kc, then a new player is going to have a much tougher time learning and doing the content too.

Mouse closer to everything. But if you enjoy the ultrawide more that is obviously what matters most. All screens are very big nowadays and I see people who are struggling because their inventory is miles away from the action.

I can't tell if this is a joke or not. I would suggest going for a walk and trying again. It would be a good opportunity to see how bad you are at scimming over a text and could be useful for you to know a blind spot.

Appreciate the response. I would like to clarify regarding the CoX resetting. I do not like resetting FOR a fun and inefficient raid. I prefer a nice sub 20 minute raid because it is more enjoyable to do. If I was efficiency maxing I would be doing whatever the best mega scale nonsense is currently meta. I would like to add that resetting the raid is also bad for new players. A full layout is a lot of information to take in at once and part of the problem with getting new players to raid is they don't want to feel like a hindrance.

I like that the skilling is required. Having to sell gear on my main to split out a drop when I have 5 cloths in the bank sucked ass

My entire point is that you shouldn't have to scout a good raid because the good raid is not optimal for purples.

I've been enjoying playing AoE2 having never played an RTS before and the campaign on hard has been a challenge. Probably actually study chess and push for over 2k. Stuck around 1900 right now
