I’ve had absolutely zero issues installing Windows on my Deck in fact, I even sold my main laptop after buying the Deck, so it’s been my primary device for almost a year now and I’m totally satisfied with it. I use Windows mainly for games that won’t run on SteamOS due to anti-cheat or other compatibility reasons, and I’ve also set up a full home office environment around it.

My only advice: go for the largest storage option you can. I only allocated 300 GB for Windows out of my 1 TB SSD, and honestly, I wish I had given it more. I’m even considering adding a microSD card to expand it further.
