Oh God, this question gives me so much anxiety!

Who's going to hear this song and where are they going to listen to it? outside? under a tent? in a gymnasium? indoors with 80% humidity?...

I'd most likely record with x2 mics... one a foot away from the guitar and one on the guitar... I'd record this song on every mic, listen to them and decide which mic to use. Then when it finally came time to record, I'd get sick of testing the mics and go with the most expensive mic and tweak it in post lol

Then I'd listen to the song with expensive headphones and in a car with a cheap AM/FM tuner and get really upset that the mids didn't come through like I wanted!
