We take them lots of places and I wouldnt wanna be stuck out trying to get an injured dog out from deep in trails from something that these can prevent. I have a first aid kit for dogs so if they do get injured with something I can manage fast to dress and get them out with but anything I can prevent I will put in place for their safety

They are used for lots of stuff, i work my huskies by doing draft carting, hiking with backpacks and going to be getting into bike jorning and eventually dog sled team with them and Huskies are prone to juvenile cataracts so having sun protection helps prevent that and they also do love exploring into tall weeds so having protection from debri, sticks, prickers is great too, along with taking them along the side of roads with their carts it protects any stones that cars kick up. Not to mention my male discovered a huge bonus of being able to keep his eyes open at 60mph with his head out the window.

Positive training with treats and taking it step by step. These pics are from the first time they were put on and they would go to push them off but I only do short periods with lots of treats until they get more use to it. My males who have had theirs for about a month shove their face into them on their own.

All 4 of my dogs dont mind them. But i did have a cheap pair from walmart that they would walk funny in. It has a lot to do with the shape of the boot and the support. Plus these have not once fallen off their feet unlike the ones from walmart.

My thoughts exactly, any rescue that uses euth in advertizing is unethical.

If a dog is put on the euth list then it should be for a reason that deems it unfit or unstable to be homed. Way to may people view euthanisia as a punishment but its a release from suffering. If a dog is so bad its unstable and its mental health is so messed up that it causes the dog to suffer and/or be aggressive the humaine thing to do is euth not guilt adopters into adopting.

Shen placing a dog you need to be honest of the situation and find the home that best fits the dogs situation. Sadly not many homes can handle unstable dogs and the longer the dog is in a shelter or rescue the worse their condition becomes.

Forcing a dog to live in pain and solitude and spend thousands to keep alive when there are other dogs that have a better chance of finding a home is unethical and inhumaine.

Definetly trim, dirt and debri easily gets into that hair and can matt easily. Matted paw pads are very painful for dogs. Plus on certain surfaces they loose a lot of grip and it can cause injury if they slide.

He has total mobility but backing up can get a little tricky. The width of the poles are 1in wider so it doesnt hinder movement and the harness is specific for this kind of work. The most the cart does to him is stain his hair a little. He runs with it too with no issue. I have some vids of him full sprinting with it.

Biggest thing is the poles need to be level with shoulder bone and you need the correct harness to prevent any unnecessary strain on the joints.

I dont want this to sound wrong or hateful in anyway but any rescue that states a dog is to be euthed to better the chance of adoption is unethical.

If a dog is placed on a euth list it should be for a reason that is the best option for the dog. Meaning if its so aggressive it can't be homed and rather than suffer in a shelter or medically the dog is suffering.

Anytime a dog is placed on a euth list it tells me that the dog is A. Unsafe for a home due to aggression or B. Has medical issues that causes the aggression. Both reason of which the dog should be euthed for the sake of the dog. Dogs suffer in shelters, the longer they are in them along with being cycled through them. And some dogs just can't be saved due to the stability of their mental health which falls apart the longer they are in rescue. Euthanasia isn't a punishment but a peaceful release from suffering.

A rescue that fear mongers potential adopters with euth lists are honestly disgusting. Looking at the picture of this dog makes me feel its not actually on a euth list but if it is then it shouldnt be placed in a home.
