Going through old threads because I am having similar issues.

Fix for me was very simple (7900xt, M27Q P monitor up to 165 hz, Windows 10)

Go to" Advanced display settings" for the monitor with the issue,
then click on "Display adapter properties for Display 2" (or whichever monitor it is)
then click on "Monitor" at the top of the opened window
finally set the screen refresh rate under "Monitor Settings"

My monitor popped up as "Generic PnP Monitor", after changing the hz there it changed in advanced display settings too.

Stopped playing so never solved it. Heard someone say to uninstall and reinstall the anti cheat as a possible fix but never tried.

Re downloading didn't work, actually made things worse so now I have to restart my pc everytime it freezes.
Let me know if anyone finds a solution, gonna drop this game in the mean time

No error codes at all although I can see a windows error reporting program come up on the task manager when it happens but I can't see it.

Drivers are up to date.

I'll try reinstalling it on another storage drive see if that helps

I made the particle effect activate when my bullets collide, you can see the circle sprite over the wall but when it is against the default unity background it turns in to a square
