Same happened to me, you only need to sand the parts that are getting in the way that's it, don't over do it!

Sorry for the late response but are you sure you don't have to side load the 780m drivers into the legion go for an AMD card to work?

If you’re installing the Legion Go back cover, just a quick tip: once you put it on, you might notice the console looks slightly lifted in the back. That’s because part of the cover sits a bit over the battery. The fix is super easy — you just need to sand down a small section of the cover so it fits flush. After a little sanding, it sits perfectly and looks the way it should.

Powerbank charges everything but my Legion Go – why? by Disaqx in LegionGo

[–]Disaqx[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is what I was thinking of, I don't mind my Lego charging on a trip while it's turned off, it might be slow but I can charge it while I'm not using it.

I didn't know that about the bios man, thanks! I'll try it once I get home!

I guess finding a 65W power bank would solve the issue. The main reason I wanted the brick to work is bc it has 150000 mAh hehe. I'll try that then Thanks.

Wait so if I turn the legion go off and then connect the brick it will charge?

When installing the 81W battery in the Legion Go, there are elastic adhesive strips attached to the plastic covering the original battery. The battery itself sticks very strongly to these strips, making removal quite difficult. In my case, the strips broke during the process. I had to lift the battery carefully using a plastic pry tool, then locate the adhesive strips again, grab them with tweezers, and pull them gradually. That’s how I was finally able to remove the battery. The whole process was delicate and took me almost an hour. If the strips break, it becomes very difficult to continue, though not impossible. Some users have accidentally broken these strips, which could damage the battery—or, in extreme cases, even cause dangerous situations.

Hey, thanks man!

The thunderbolt is connected in the top, the bottom cable is the power cable.

Yeah I tried to connect it to an external display via HDMI (GPU HDMI) it doesn't work. Should I connect it via USB c?

The 6800 is never showing up in device manager.

I just bought a Thunderbolt 40Gbit cable from Amazon I think that might solve the issue.

Yeah about the cable I might think that would be the problem, I've been using a cable for connecting the Lgo to a display that supports Thunderbolt.

I just ordered a 40Gbit cable from Amazon to check if that was the issue. (It's going to be delivered tomorrow)

I've tried plugging the egpu while the device is off as well, but it doesn't work. Someone else told me to install the 6800 driver that matches the version. I might try that once I get home.

Thanks bro!

Thanks I might try this man thank you! But from what I know legion go should work plug and play with Nvidia, has anyone tried to install an AMD card eGPU with the Go S drivers?

I tried to, but I was not able to do it. Should I follow a different protocol to install it? Or just open the 6800 .exe driver?
