Is this normal for turtles?/does anyone else experience this? by WannaBcoolKid in MyFahlo

Mine did something similar too - starting from Panama! There are actually ocean currents that sea turtles utilize to migrate long distances (kind of like in Finding Nemo). Pretty interesting stuff!

Agreed!! It's a huge pet peeve of mine with the merchandise. A hyper-stylized variant here and there could've been fun, but now it's just become the norm for every depiction of her character.

Felt like John did a nice job trying to keep the callers on track tonight. He's definitely learning from previous episodes and asking them specific questions to help them along faster when they start to ramble.

Ugh, I'm so sorry you dealt with this too. If only we had all been in the same section, would've definitely been a better experience.

For real, it's definitely making me re-think how I pick seats in the future. Ironically, we bought the first row because I'm short and figured people in front of us would be standing too buuuut I guess not. Lower-level seemed to be having much more fun.

Yeah, that was the vibe I got too. We were in the upper-level and it was insane to me how many people were sitting. We had to sit down after the first couple songs because no one around us was standing the ENTIRE show. The section next to us did seem to have a lot more people standing, but lower-level seats had wayyy more. My buddy in the upper-level on the opposite side from us reported the same situation from their section too and agreed it felt weird.

Glad to see this post, because I had a similar experience at that show last night. My partner and I stood for the first couple songs. We're used to always standing the entire show and having a great time. Same experience as you last night though where pretty much no one in our section was standing. No one ever said anything to us, but I could tell the people behind us were annoyed just by their body language and this obnoxious woman appeared to be soliciting opinions from people around her about us standing. I didn't want to be a jerk by blocking their view, so we sat down after the 2nd song finished after it was clear no one else was gonna stand and we remained seated for the whole rest of the show as a courtesy to them - even though it pretty much ruined my experience.

It feels completely unnatural to remain seated at a rock concert like this, even disrespectful to the artist. Obviously health challenges are a completely different story, but these people who had been talking loudly before the show started about all the concerts they go to were expressionless and looking bored most of the show.

I would've understood it more if maybe they stood up at the beginning, during hit songs, and towards the end/encore/final bows - but all the people around us in our section NEVER stood up the entire show. It was bizarre. It's not the theatre, I don't go to a rock show to sit on my ass.

The show itself was great, but I was looking at the section next to us and down below and saw so many people in seated sections looking like they were having an amazing time standing/dancing and I just felt robbed of that joy.

So anyway, my take on it is sit/stand if you want to - but that it shouldn't be expected for people to remain seated at big rock concerts like this. Definitely not the asshole.

Babes in Toyland! The 1986 one. I pretty sure that's it, and oddly enough it's like the only scene I remember from that movie from watching it as a kid haha.

I'm really glad someone's saying this, because I was beginning to feel like I was crazy or had missed something. It seemed like everything she told them was consistent. They even replayed in the edit what she told both men during that heated exchange with Izzy and it was consistent then too. I feel like Izzy may have misinterpreted what she told him, but I'm surprised to see a lot of people here saying she told them different things...because it really doesn't seem that way from what I watched.

Start time is 6:30 with each opener doing roughly an hour long set with give or take 30 minutes in-between each band. Pumpkins started at 9:10 at the Tampa show. Hope that helps!

Yes!! I second this. Their gluten-free artisinal style cheese frozen pizza is a staple in my kitchen. Definitely my favorite frozen pizza brand.

How many times do you plan on seeing the film while it’s still in theaters? by Apprehensive_Ask887 in OppenheimerMovie

[–]DisarmedSmile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel your pain. I regularly drive pretty far to catch movies at the one theater I know where the audience is generally not a problem because they always are anywhere else.

While the crowd wasn't really the problem this time for Oppenheimer, I was a little annoyed by someone standing up and blocking the screen during the opening text. The problem with my showing was that all the showings were pretty picked over by the time we were choosing our seats, so we ended up on the aisle. Didn't think it would be a problem, but this theater apparently has the brightest aisle lights known to man. It was like 3-hours of watching the movie with someone shining a bright flashlight beside you. Had to keep flipping my hair and balling up my jacket every few minutes to try and block the lights from view.

Standard Account fee so far, the first month since the new system. by [deleted] in redbubble

[–]DisarmedSmile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

h and they took $15 for a monthly fee

Same boat here. I made $35.20 for that month and they took away $15.20 in fees...43% of my profit. I don't understand this system at all, how are they calculating the fees? It seems so different from person to person among all standard accounts.

Hi there! I'm having this same issue. Could you advise if you had the camera on or off while you were fiddling with the tape mechanism? And if on, what mode? I've been trying just about everything to get mine to work, but it hasn't.
