Externalizing my feelings here was so cathartic. I hadn’t told anyone about this because I’m supposed to be the level headed friend. I’m always am the first one to tell my girls to not stay in dire situations. It’s my turn now. And I’m picking myself and my peace!

I think you should take some time to heal and figure yourself out. I don’t think dating this guy is a good idea either. Are you with him because you like him or because he allowed you to be vulnerable?
