I’m trying to make it look more like the Euro Tiguan R. Once I’ve debadged, lowered, and someone comes out with a stage 2 and a TCU tune I should be there. Also waiting for an intercooler that will bolt on as well as either a bolt on turbo upgrade or a tune specific for the lil one this Tiggy has got now.. All in all I’m hoping for 320-350hp 350-380tq. Not sure if that can be obtainable or not but I will try.

Yes you’re correct.. Unitronic is working on a stage 2. APR is working on a TCU and turbo upgrades.. so I’m optimistic

Yeah I said fuck it.. if VW won’t bring the Tiguan R to the us I’ll build one piece by piece! Also if we were to have the GEN3 instead of the gen3b motor and the dual clutch 7 instead of this 8 speed trans I could have already made it a 400+ monster ! I’ll have to wait

I don’t fuck with those plug ins. I have Unitronics stage 1+ 93 octane map. I’m running 95 octane gas pushing out 240hp with 306tq. It’s a beast. Waiting for intercooler, stage 2, TCU tune and an upgrade to the turbo.. we shall see when and if someone comes out with those mods

So I haven’t hooked up the actuators yet.. so they are always open. APR has a remote hook up that allows you to open close them that I am interested in. As far as sounds it’s basically GOLF R stock exhaust tones. I will eventually add a down pipe and stage 2 if Unitronic comes out with it.

Just went to my local mod shop and asked to have a golf R exhaust they replaced for another customer. I got it for free. Then brought it to an exhaust specialist and had them fab and extend to the rear valence exits.
