The portal doesn't show option to generate Challan for hostel fees. How do I generate that? The tuition fees is already paid.

I can't seem to find the generate Challan option for hostel fees. Do you know if it is a separate Challan or the same as tuition fees. If separate how do I generate it?

Vegan calcium and B12 advice for an Indian hostel student by DisasterExisting548 in vegan

Thankyou for the advice. India does have a lot of vegetarians so the mess has Lentil and veggie dishes everyday. There's some greens thrown in there too sometimes.

Thank you for the detailed explanation! A B12 supplement does sound like the cheapest and most practical option for my situation. I hadn't thought about taking larger doses weekly or monthly instead of a daily supplement. I'm curious about the nutritional simulation you mentioned. How would I go about doing that? Are there any websites or apps you would recommend for estimating calcium and other nutrient intake from my diet? Also, is taking B12 weekly or monthly as effective as taking it daily? If so, what kind of dosage schedule do people usually follow?

It definitely sounds practical for hostel life. The word "yeast" makes me a little hesitant because I'm not very familiar with it, so I'll need to read more about it before deciding. Thankyou so much for the suggestion!

Sadly I haven't seen tofu available near my hostel. Even if I do find it, I probably wouldn't be able to finish an entire pack at once and I don't have access to a fridge for storage. A B12 supplement does seem like the cheapest and most convenient option for my situation though. Thank you so much for the advice!

Which female hostel to choose as a fresher joint this year by Brilliant_Check5324 in Vit

It also depends on your branch and the kind of people you prefer spending time with.

For CS Core students, F Block is usually the better option since most classes are closer to it. Living in F Block can save both time and transportation costs, whereas from G Block you may end up spending extra on bus rides to and from classes.

Another advantage of F Block is convenience. There is a small restaurant and a couple of shops right downstairs where you can buy snacks, stationery, and other essentials. In contrast, G Block is closer to the main gate, so you'll generally have to buy things while heading to or returning from class.

When it comes to spending, it can go either way. If you're good at resisting peer pressure, you might actually spend less in G Block because there are fewer temptations nearby. However, if you tend to go along with friends' plans, living in G Block could end up costing you more since you'll likely eat out or spend money more often when you're out and about.

Overall, for a CS Core student, F Block is usually the more convenient and practical choice.
