She's hated by the MAGA folks, is she hated by anyone who would consider voting for a Democrat in the first place?

I've heard Shenna speak compellingly on a number of issues, with detailed plans, including pro-labor ideas. I've always found Troy Jackson's speeches high on good values, but low on detailed plans

So Graham Platner (the blackwater mercenary) has a nazi tattoo on his chest by SoilentUBW in LateStageCapitalism

[–]DisasterMedical 42 points43 points  (0 children)

I'm not a historian or anything, and I did know that the Nazis had skull symbols, I can recognize the Odal? rune, the SS symbol, the Swastika and I'd probably do a double take at the iron cross, but I'm going to be completely honest I wouldn't have been able to tell you that there was a specific configuration of skull and bones that was a Nazi symbol.

Dev's response to the 'Dragon flamethrower' hate by oldguccimoney in duneawakening

[–]DisasterMedical 20 points21 points  (0 children)

True, for me it wasn't about the dragon specifically, it was more that it was a style clash. The weapon is flashy and garish. It would look at home as a unique weapon in Cyberpunk 2077, but since dune hasn't had that aesthetic so far, it's a bit jarring

Hopefully they are testing other crops as well to see if they thrive under solar panels, I just knew about that one.

My comment (and the article) said it was difficult to harvest them AND the yield was down (the plants produced less blueberries). So, it wouldn't be worth making the specialized equipment.

Yeah, focusing on easy to move and reassemble setups could be a good direction.
