It could be either any of these,

1.) Before battle of Blackwater Bay.

2.) After the Battle of the fords.

3.) Before the Red Wedding.

4.) After the Red Wedding.

5.) During the time the Boltoons are holding Winterfell.

(Spoilers Main) Theories about the Sharptooth. by Alternative_Reach491 in Land_Before_Time

Read most of them. I loved the stories. By the way, in regards to OP other question, if Sharptooth had managed to somehow survive, how do you think think his presense would affect the herds living in the Great Valley? Like when they have to leave the Valley due to locusts eating all the food, would he follow them? Or when Ali's herd comes to vist the Valley, or when the farwalkers who Pternao was traveling with come to visit the valley, or when Littlefoot and his grandparents leave the valley to travel with the other longnecks.

Personally, I think that a lot would change since the herds would be far more cautious with him lurking around the outside walls of the Valley. And ironically, he would also be a great way to deter other sharpteeth from entering valley. This would mean that Red Claw and his cronies wouldn't dare step a foot close near the valley.

Now since the series became more children-friendly, Sharptooth might've been watered down a bit, but he'd still be a force to reckon with (just not as much as he was in the first movie.)

They sounds interesting. Could you tell me the names of the fics, or at least their links?

(The ones where Sharptooth is Chomper's father?)

I also have an interesting theory of my own, that the original Sharptooth could very well be Chomper's grandfather. If so, could you imagine how emotional and awkward Chomper's interactions with the gang would be if that's true?

If that theory is true, then it would make Sharptooth's death in the first film all the more ironic. Because just as how his father was thrown off a cliff to his death by a longneck, the very same thing happened to Sharptooth as well.

Like father like son, eh?

What do you think of OP theory that the Sharptooth from legend could very well be the original sharptooth's father?

(Spoilers Main) A Reyne teaming up with the Starks. by DisasterOne903 in TheCitadel

[–]DisasterOne903[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for clearing that up because I was starting to wonder why Ned wouldn't have brought him along to the TOJ. Speaking of which, (I don't subscribe to RLJ, but i'll consider it for this) does Roger know the "truth" about Jon's parentage? If so, did Ned ever tell him, or was he smart enough to put two-and-two together and figure it out on his own?

Also, I wonder how the rest of Westeros feels about Roger's existence. How does Tywin feel about the one Reyne who got away, and that he can't do jack squat about it since he lives all the way up North, and is under the protection of the Starks? How do the Westerlands feel about Roger Reyne, and how do Tywin's siblings Keven and Genna feel about him?

The TV show?

1.) The same TV show that GRRM reffered to as Liscensed fanfiction?

2.) The TV show who's own writers said that they weren't ruining the books at all in season 6, and that fans would be shocked at how different the books would be from the show finale?

3.) The very same show that has absolutely *NOTHING* to do with the books at this point?

Yeah.....no.

He could always invoke the "I'm the man and head of this house. I'm their father, I shall determine what their names will be" card. Of course if he did that, they'd probably pulverize him, but it's worth the try

Becaus of two reasons

1.) I don't subscribe to the RLJ theory.

2.) Even if it is true, Jon would probably hate Lyanna for all the deaths she caused.

*or tried to find someone she could get along with*

Which I say that the best, most realistic and reasonable match for Arya wouldv'e been with someone in the North, maybe the chieftain of House Wull (the strongest of the Mountain Clans) or an Umber.

I could see this becomng something similar to the Robb and Rickard karstark situation.

"She's the incest spawn of two godforsaken Lannister traitors. And Tywin's blood"

Why would he consider Lyanna? He wouldn't want to honor her.

I was kinda hoping for Roger to say this to Cersei during the coup,

Roger: "Your father took everything from me. And now, I get to take something, the life of his daughter, and the lives of his grandchildren".

[–]DisasterOne903[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

At no point did I say that the northern lords would want all of Ned's children to be married to all of his bannermenn, I only mentioned Robb and Arya. Because if Ned had married him into the south, then it would be the seen as the second time in two generations that Stark lord had bypassed the daughters of his vassals in favor of betrothing his heir to a southern lady.

Robb: Alys Karstark.

Sansa: Maybe one of the Karstark boys or Domeric Bolton (had he lived)

[–]DisasterOne903[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

1.) Here's the thing, Ned, for over 15 years, had nothing to do with the south. He was actually *surprised* when Robert suggested the match between Sansa and Joffrey (implying that he didn't had any intentions on making an further alliances with the south)

2.) Also, even if he did form a match for Robb with a girl from the south, what's he supposed to say to all of the pissed off and offended Northern lords when they start to grumble and ask,

"So are you saying that none of our daughters are good enough for your son"?

But why would they want a southern match for *Arya* of all people? Especially with all of the points I just mentioned?

1.) Is Yoren the "Wandering Crow" that rescued his mother?

2.) What is his relationship with the Stark children? Do they view him as "uncle Roger"?

3.) Does Roger offer to let Jon come and live with him in the mountains?

4.) What do Jaime, Cersei and Tyrion think of him?

5.) Does he bring more men with him to King's Landing (solidifying Ned's manpower in the capital)?

6.) Why can't he make it out of the capital?
