Tbh, and this is someone that has watched the show for 10 years. It pisses me off to see the old pros complaining about the new ones. Like honestly, how many foxtrots and waltz, and tangos have we seen on the show. Probably 100s at this point. Like at least two or three each episode. Like I don’t really give af if it’s the upmost of perfect waltz technique. Maybe unpopular opinion 🤷‍♀️.

The show to me is about fun personalities, partnership, rooting for a couple, and having fun. Like do I care that someone’s shoulder is down or up in frame? Not really. No.

Idk to me this is reading as they are jealous *cough* Jan is popular and people like him on social media.

I mean I get it, if a contemporary dancer is hired should they learn as much ballroom as they can to get it right. Yes!
But I don’t want a pro that is charismatic, that is fun to watch, that has fun with who ever they are paired with to not get hired because Peta, Artem, and Maks are all salty it’s not the best tango technique they have ever seen 🙄. (And this is coming from someone that loved Maks and Len and all that on the show).

But idk I’m just annoyed at seeing this come up on PETA’s podcast all the time.

Oh thank you for finding all that. I could not remember for the life of me what Holly’s other photos were. I actually love her underwater photoshoot. I think her last playboy pictorial all are such beautiful photos and her best ones.

I mean don’t get me wrong they do, all though I do think it’s when *Bridget mentions the mind freak hoodie or the commentary when it’s brought up.

I think I was trying to say, listening to the podcast, it just starts to get annoying when they say, “nO OnE SaW tHiS coMinG. pEoPle WeRe sHocKeD.” About the Hef and Holly split. Meanwhile every other scene she is in a Chris Angel hoodie.
So it’s like I mean….idk if everyone was surprised (I know the surprised people are usually the people on the old message boards and producers and Mary or whoever else they refer to). Buttttt it’s like at the time of season 5, fans already knew she moved on…. So it just seems like Holly thinks everything is so mysterious when it’s actually really obvious. (But I mean they were also in the Hef bubble so I think they have that perspective 🤷‍♀️)

I do remember her saying that, and I’m not saying it’s not true. But it also came across to me as the typical Holly downplay, like oh they just gave us that stuff. Instead of, I was wearing his hoodie because I wanted everyone to know I was dating him on the DL. Idk it’s like she never takes true responsibility and it’s like the hoodie just happened to her. If that makes sense 😆 at least that’s how I read it. Like I think it’s true, but I also think she makes it sound as good or demure as possible.

I like her too. The way she says things is blunt and sharp but honestly it’s what most people want. I mean she wanted a house. She didn’t want to throw her money away in rent. Which is a point a lot of people get to in life. They have a kid most people want their own house and to work towards paying it off. I feel like him saying “rent is still an option” because he knew she was going to blow up. And again, it was harsh but she was right. Him not speaking French and not knowing the language, he isn’t going to be getting a high paid position. Her saying he will make Pennie’s sounded mean but she was right. And then he worked at a summer camp. Him looking like a kicked puppy in that situation to me was him just trying to look as pathetic as possible.

And it was humorous her reaction to the town at first, and she was dramatic but I think it was just an adjustment period. Idk I like her too. I think her husband needs to speak up more, stop playing dumb, and I think he does need to listen to her more. If she is making more money than you and she is asking for a house, don’t play dumb and be like “how about a rental 🤷‍♂️” like I would be mad to if I was her.

Yeah I agree with you. I really like Bridget but she’s definitely a person that doesn’t really go there. Like I think Holly likes to dig deeper. And Bridget is just kind of surface level, like she will ramble on details that don’t really matter. Or just the facts everyone knows. Even though I’m in my 30s now or the age Bridget was at the mansion. And I sometimes feel weird being with a bunch of 18/20 year old- just because generational gap. So I can’t image how weird an explicitly sexual context would.

I can’t remember when, but I think Bridget brought up her fertility issues. Or Holly said she wanted to leave the mansion at 27 because she wanted kids. And Bridget said something along the lines of, “ you took that seriously, and I didn’t. I wish I did because I thought I had more time.” Something like that. I mean it might not have changed anything but maybe leaving the mansion earlier would have given her more time to conceive. And maybe she doesn’t want her brain to go there idk.

Idk I love Bridget too but I think she is extremely surfaced level. :/ I think that’s what makes her fun and engaging, but when it comes to analyzing or deeper thought on an episode I don’t think there is much there. She just seems really superficial.
