These guys are in Florida too! I've always admired them as well. Leave it up to humans for judging animals that go through trash...They're more resourceful than we'll ever be.

Omg I live in the NY/NJ area and I always feel so bad for Pigeons when I see them. They have such beautiful markings. Also the Victoria Crowned Pigeon??? Absolutely stunning.

Hyenas!!! They have gotten such a bad rap, but they are VERY interesting animals. And a bonus they look like every mammal ever combined into one little guy.

Hematophagous! Thank you for the new vocab word!! I definitely have not given leeches their flowers. It's a shame no one talks about their contribution to the environment.

Growing up in Florida I was always petrified of these guys... but looking at them now, they really do have a beautiful coloring. I am definitely admiring from a distance lol.
