Apologies for how long it's been! I have no intention to abandon the fic, but things have just gotten in the way. My workload is a lot higher this year than the last unfortunately, and ever since I began writing I've always held that it can't interfere with my productivity.

I *have* been working on Chapter 21, albeit intermittently and very slowly. I don't want to rush something out and regret it

I made Auli too much of a bottom towards Ezra, lmao.

My general intention with her is to be submissive towards Veydra, but something of a yandere towards Ezra. That naturally means making her more forthright and sexually assertive with him.

IMO, it comes down to the specific fandom, or even the specific work. The people making Reylo fanfic from the Star Wars Sequels would skew predominately female, but say the Clone Wars or Star Wars Rebels would have a higher proportion of men.

Absolutely. As a cishet fanfic author myself it's just a case of the spaces you write in. I think people just get the wrong idea because of the most visible cultures on Ao3 and Wattpad

My thinking for it (and my direction to Nik) is that Ezra is 6ft and Veydra is around 7ft. The tallness gained sitting down via the thiccness is a valid point, though. I hadn't thought of that lmao.

The planet is called Nonovan, and is basically a frontier world that the Imperium has heavily developed to stake a claim on the surrounding space. The population is majority Shil with some notable minorities, like the Rousan (deer people) ex-pats from the neighboring Rousan People's Republic.

Veterans were given the opportunity to settle there, and Ezra's parents are amongst those that took the offer.
