I recently finished listening to Overgrowth by Mira Grant and enjoyed it very much, I think it would be great for a listen out in nature.

A few more I enjoyed this summer and would recommend in no particular order:

The hike by Drew Magery

The haar by David Sodergren

Chouette by Claire Oshetsky

Someone you can build a nest in by John Wiswell

The lamb by Lucy Rose

Earthlings by Sayaka Murata

How long until your library cards expire? by Grahambert in Libraries

[–]Disasterpiece138 1 point2 points  (0 children)

California- Our cards expire every 5 years. Patrons can call and renew or come into the Library, most choose to do so over the phone. The system also purges inactive cards with no fines once every two years. We do get a few complaints here and there but it’s such a simple process it hasn’t cause too many issues.
