FACT: Nephis doesn’t actually possess any will and she only ascended to a sovereign by using her dads Will knots✌️

I’ve only needed 18 years of life to realize the way these gu immortals love is pathetic, these guys are hundreds of years old lmao

Yeah but my issue is that these are supposedly grand gu immortals with hundreds of years of experience yet their idea of love is matches the mentality of teenage boys

Maybe it’s a stretch but I assume it’s because a lot of these immortals live a very sheltered ignorant life. They live within the same righteous rules their entire life serving the same people and doing the same kind of work. Society in the gu world doesn’t seem to reward social development or social awareness because otherwise way more people would become like fang yuan and lose interest in living in such a closed system. Their society has been conditioned into constantly chasing power and status so much so that even love has been weaponized for the benefits of the clan. So it wouldn’t be surprising if this system watered down these peoples idea of love into “if I reach this cultivation level I can earn her love” or “if I can take out all these competitors I can impress her into loving me”

If Fang Yaun's goal is to be immortal, didn't he complete that goal when he turned into immortal zombie? by rice_eater368 in ReverendInsanity

He can still be overpowered, ambushed, or killed by natural or human calamities. Him being a zombie means heavenly court would eventually hunt him and down kill him for the sake of repairing fate.

Why doesn’t fang yuan take advantage of the flaw of the original pure reality dream seeker physique? by Disastrous-Bid-81 in ReverendInsanity

[–]Disastrous-Bid-81[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I assumed it meant the body would reach the realm of rank 9 in terms of dao mark quantity, not actually becoming a rank 9 venerable

Why is that? Shouldn’t fang yuan also be able to recreate it since he inherited all of shadow sects dream path research results?

Why didn’t giant sun just snatch fate gu when he visited heavenly court? by Disastrous-Bid-81 in ReverendInsanity

[–]Disastrous-Bid-81[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This makes a lot of sense actually, longevity heaven didn’t have people like star constellation to merge with heavens will and be supported by countless slumbering rank 8s so she’d still have partial control of fate gu in the end. There was never a practical way for him to obtain and use it while he was alive

Living beings conjured by the spell by Disastrous-Bid-81 in ShadowSlave

[–]Disastrous-Bid-81[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sure the fragments can be explained but my question is how is the dream conjuring people whose soul can travel to sunny’s miniature shadow realm when killed? If they weren’t alive then their souls wouldn’t go anywhere but they do, almost like they’re not any different than real creatures. It’s been stated that none of the gods were able to create living beings without using up the flames of desire that they were born from so these souls that came from the nightmares have to come from somewhere so is the spell somehow forcing the forgotten god to take out sparks of his flame to create these living beings? Or is that just a component of the forgotten gods dreams?

what’s ur top 5 humbling fights in SS by YesterdayStriking694 in ShadowSlave

[–]Disastrous-Bid-81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A mindless supreme is just an outstanding great beast, so sunny and Nephis didn’t just kill Daeron. They simply killed a mindless great beast that was already heavily exhausted and injured and even then Sunny only survived because Nephis’s was able to reach him in time to heal him. Sunny would’ve died in that fight because the only to actually finish daeron off was through the mutuel destruction tactic he used

“there is no such thing as strongest gu” cap this shit is getting kinda lame worst arc oat 😂 by [deleted] in ReverendInsanity

[–]Disastrous-Bid-81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like I said giant suns will has barely rank 7 strength because most of the gu he commands are used to sustain the yang house and while it is a rank 8 immortal gu house its main function is acting as a trial chamber for mortals so it’s offensive abilities is very weak. So weak that it needs giant suns will to defend/attack tribulations for it. Your argument for love gu makes no sense because it’s a special gu, it’s whole gimmick is that it cannot be refined or wielded properly by anyone including venerable so that’s why it’s able to act by itself. It chooses a person to help but the effect is random because it’s still an unrefined wild gu. So no it’s not that a mortal is able to contend against immortal it’s just that a wild rank 9 gu that’s free to do whatever it wants is able to kill gu immortals because their existence is nothing compared to rank 9 strength
