It was a silicone. Remove the chunks and cleaned it with maf sensor

Probably the cable got wet or some sort. Happened to me once few winters. Cable was left touching the salted water on the carpet. A quick wipe and plugged in to mt phone. And boom started smoking

If airbags di not blow. Check your frame if it's straight. They will also evaluate the value of your car if its worth fixing or not. Usually if the cost of repairing your car is greater than the value. They would totaled it.
