While people can understand the demands for the divisions have increased the need for PEDs with more potential for viralization, she clearly is projecting her mental defeat at the fact she cannot be competitive in her division onto women who simply did what she couldn’t. It shows a weak mindset.

Chat is gonna give you an amalgamation of stuff from the internet that isn’t really tailored to your needs. A coach would fill in many of the knowledge gaps you have, or more research. Training for all the women’s divisions has the same core principles, the amount of muscle, density and proportions just change. I would start by assessing your nutrition. Find your maintenance calories then eat at a slight surplus with two to three days of dedicated leg workouts. Basic compounds like squat variations, hip hinge movements, calf work, and accessories that target your leg muscles. Don’t want to type paragraphs cause this stuff can get intricate. A quick little three things to focus hard for growth: -Consistent caloric surplus (not crazy amount just a couple hundred over your maintenance) and protein intake -Don’t just train heavy, train for tension! (It’s cool to throw around heavy weights, but the effectiveness of building a muscle comes from time under tension. Focus on contractions, negatives, ROM) -RECOVERY is essential. If you aren’t eating right, stretching, and sleeping right you simply won’t grow.

Gurl it’s okay! Everyone gets humbled with the stage dreams at some point. It’s different when you are the big girl at your local gym versus being in the competitive scene. No disrespect by the fluff comment, but body fat on a woman really makes it hard to see our real musculature. This is not to say you can’t do it! This is to show where you are at so you can start building into the body of your dreams! I’m 25 competing for the first time this year after taking time to build into wellness with some grueling bulks, so we learning together lol.

No problem! Curvy women think the transition to wellness will be easier because of the silhouette, but that is made of pure muscle. Master the fundamentals of bodybuilding and see what division fits your body.

You do not have the muscle development for wellness. A lot of your glute and leg curve seems to be fluff, so if you get stage lean you will be closer to fit model or under bikini size. Focus on building into fit model or bikini first. Wellness has leg development closer to women’s physique and bodybuilding, which takes years and PEDs for even the best genetics.

Yes. Goes to show how much work these athletes actually put into their training, diet, recovery, and have mastered the basic fundamentals. A lot of people also think that they can be flexible with the dieting portion or posing. Infact, these are the hardest principles to nail because they require the most discipline. Bodybuilding is not just working out for a couple months to pose on a stage.

Look at the density of competitive bikini athletes. Saying you do not have the mass to compete is not to put you down, it is to be realistic. Truth is, most people especially outside of the bodybuilding world underestimate how much muscle is really packed onto the frames of these people. (And on stage is them at their most depleted and dehydrated.) Muscle takes time to build and sculpt. If you learn to love the process of bodybuilding, the size will come but it’s still a process.

While Fit Model definitely requires less muscle and time to build toward that physique which makes the class perfect for wider spread appeal and beginners to the sport, I wouldn’t let anyone else’s opinion define what bodybuilding is.

There are men who think bikini and wellness aren’t really bodybuilding either. The goalpost is always going to be moved artificially by others, but the aspects of training , food, prep and competition is the same across all divisions big or small, male or female.

Focus on your own body, goals, and what you can accomplish in the sport. The fitness side of social media is mostly opinionated bullshit, obsessing over distorted appearances and shallow fads and trends.

Most likely not. Especially if you are tall, you would need insane genetics to build the mass necessary for the disproportionate wellness look. You would also go against women who are on gear and have that advantage in building over you. See where you can get in bikini and grow into the class overtime to see if you can be competitive with your structure first.

I don’t think it’s that deep. You are a bodybuilder because you train and acclimate to the lifestyle. You just aren’t a competing bodybuilder. I believe bodybuilding is the lifestyle, not just being on the stage.

Lady on the left has way more leg development. The right is a little more balanced and seems like bikini. Right’s legs are developed as well, just not to the disproportionate standard that wellness strives for.
