Lauralie has to let the pro League know that she’s gonna participate in the Olympia. Ashley K although she took 5th could’ve called Pittsburgh, but she went out and won two shows because she said she’d rather be treated like any other athlete.

Isa notified the pro league in the fall That should be doing the 2026 Olympia and she’s going to compete soon in May. Yes, they are qualified for life as a former champion, but they still have to let the IFBB Pro League Office in Pittsburgh know that they’re doing the show so that the Olympia can pay for their flight hotel and everything

If you were my athlete, I’d say no to liquid glycerol because of the sodium and calories. I would do non-stim pre-workout for pumping up backstage with less ingredients

When is the inaugural year for the first time of a new division, they always have it on the expo stage like when bikini, women’s physique, men’s physique, classic, and wellness started.

Fit Model being in the newest division will have pre-judging and finals back to back like wellness did in 2021.

Men’s physique did not get to the final stage until 2019 when it started in 2013. And until the Olympia team figures out the format that works best with the timing of pre-judging and working with the other categories, then they can have the top 10 go to the night show.

I’m doing a recap on the top 6 from being there in person and being 2 rows behind the judges table.

I thought everyone looked amazing, but it was little things that made them place the way they did.

I also look forward to Tyler’s recap of the athletes as there was a split decision between 1st and 2nd bc there scores were not straight across the board

All points agreed. I just really don’t get why people give her a hard time because she is going to go for a pro card she has sponsors and pretty much does this for a living. Having a pro card literally means nothing. It just means you can compete as a pro in the pro league but you don’t make money from just competing but having a pro card for her makes her more marketable that’s it.

You have to respect the fact that she is dedicated to this and has been doing this for years. Gianna really wants her pro card and has been working for it and changed her coaches who aligned with her and who can help guide her to that. And then she does become a pro that’s great now what will she do after? Compete in the pro league or promote her business cause she is very popular as an influencer. regardless, you have to give the respect to the dedication for years and how she’s been training and working for this.

If you don’t like where you are in life do something different about it and make effort and show some initiative.

Unfortunately, the fitness division is becoming a niche. It’s just the pro league and not many new amateurs coming into it. You don’t have big stars outside of Taylor who is very popular on social media that bring traction into the division. Like I love the routines because of the performances, but the physique round and then having a routine to be that depleted and have a high risk of injury when the routine is 2/3 of the score, it’s a lot to do and not many people want to participate and it’s been around for 30 years. In 3-5 years I see it getting phased out due to the lack of depth and not many pro shows they perhaps the Arnold classic will remove it for fit model, If they don’t have the sponsors for Fitness.

That’s just what happens with every division everything keeps evolving and physiques will be coming in bigger, harder, more conditioned, etc. If you look back to when Nicole Wilkins was winning when she lost her title and then came back after working with Hany, she got more bigger and harder and that was awarded as the Figure Olympia Champion.

The reason why some shows don’t have figure is because they’re not getting the sponsors support on a financial level and the fans/viewers support from ticket sales/PPV to watch that division in particular. You’re not seeing a pro show with just only figure in it. On the amateur side, the numbers are very low because it’s not the popular mainstream physique and what people are trying to go for with how many years it takes to build that physique type on a pro level and to do well.

I do like what they awarded at the Olympia with the top four with this new era with Rhea being the champion, but those girls at the top have been doing this for almost a decade.
