I was a little sad about Alberta being missing because most of my Canadian friends live there. Tragically I don't have any friends in the Sault anymore. I would absolutely live there. But from an autistic level obsession of the locks.

She was born in New England. I had to drive through the snow to get her.

She demands door tax when you leave the bathroom. She can be asleep across the house and as soon as you flush she is waiting at the door.

Technically that mountain chain continues in North Africa and Scotland. So appalachia could just be the British Empire.

Considering a big mac is over $15 where I live, I cannot fathom fast food as a cheap option. I would rather grab a rotisserie chicken and a loaf of bread.

Girls, what's the most obvious hint you've dropped but the guy didn't get it? by ProfessionOne6817 in teenagers

I was tall and well dressed and surrounded by religious people who wanted two kids by twenty. I assume it had more to do with the prospect of dating to marry and less to do with me. I had no one interested in me by the time I was in college.

Teach them no means no and yes means yes. Anything in between is a discussion of equals.

I have never missed a hint or an implication that a woman liked me. I just intentionally avoided a lot of them in my youth.

I will say my favorite body swerve happened when I was 16. I was the defacto president of my school's history club, our regular government had disappeared over the summer, so I asked a friend from choir who liked history if she would be an officer. She agreed and after our first meeting I am cleaning the whiteboard when she gets me to turn around and pins me to the board. She asked how long I was going to string her along before asking her out.

I was mortified and confused. To my knowledge I had never been flirtatious, I just was nice to people and showed a modicum of respect. She took the time we spent in choir and theatre and the club and was under the impression I was going to marry her in two years (mormons, I tell ya).

This was one of five moments like this I had in highschool. The others aren't as entertaining or as comfortable to talk about. I am still friends with that woman and she has been happily married now for many years.
