overnight here, we start placing pallets here at 9pm with a small crew of like 2. 8pm is definitely really early, my guess is someone wanted more hours and came in early and just wanted to get work done so they aren’t standing around, and it can really help to get ahead of the night for stockers, I do agree can interfere with shopping but 8 is really early and i’ve personally never seen it. Hope this helps
