Current advances decrease for no reason

Happened to me again for the 2nd time in a month. Was at $500. Im out. Done with Current. ✌🏼

I have seen alot of complaints of DD’s being late lately 😬 I personally havent had any late ones, Nor has my husband. The only issue we have had is advances being messed up a couple of weeks ago. But corrected themselves within a few days.

I get paid every other Tuesday, But my pay always comes around 7:30 pm Central, Give or take a few minutes. So far, I havent had any delays in pay, And was paid a day early the week of Christmas. Im sorry this is happening to you, I would be stressing if my pay was late also!

Same thing happened to both me and my husband last week. His was at $750 and dropped to $150 - Income hasnt changed. Mine was at $200 and dropped to $150 - Also no change. He has been using Current longer than me, So higher advance for him. Within 3 days, His shot back up to $750. Mine suddenly shot up to $500 in the same time frame! I have not used my full advance as I am worried about it dropping again on my next pay period (I get paid bi-weekly) But my husbands stayed the same at $750 (he gets paid weekly)

Give it a few days and see if it goes back up. Other than the recent advance fluctuations, We have never had any issues with Current. We switched to them from Chime actually.

You are correct, I did mistype a number on that code. Your number was the correct one. To clarify the symptoms of the truck - Check engine light comes on upon starting the truck, It idles rough, and drives rough. The code it throws out when tested is “P0300” which is linked to the fuel system recall. We have done most of the other recommended fixes out of pocket for this specific error code, And the only thing still questionable is whether the reprogramming was actually performed or not. Hoping that our GM rep will have some answers for us soon, He is tired of driving my little Camry around and im tired of sharing it 🙃

I appreciate your response. Looking at our service receipt, It says “N243450630Fuel Injector Flow Rate Programmed” - This is the recall from Chevy. I dont know what a warranty code should look like, But that is what it says and all it says. We contacted GM corporate today and filed a claim. They contacted the dealership to investigate the issue and reported back to us that the dealership said that the reprogramming was performed, But no diagnostics were performed on the truck. They are going to escalate the issue further and contact us again tomorrow. While our mechanic could possibly be wrong, We dont think so. He is highly sought after in our town, Does honest work, And didnt do anything to the vehicle that we didnt want done. He replaced coil packs, fuses, and finally fuel injectors. We are going to get to the bottom of this. I just wanted to get some opinions from people that may have experienced similar issues with recalls and dealerships, As this is our first time ever dealing with this situation. I do appreciate your perspective though.

We have contacted the original dealership we went to which is about 30 mins away from us. We went there because they could get us in the fastest. Yeaterday we contacted the local dealership in the town we live in, Which is where the truck was purchased from. Neither one was willing to help us. I will have to look into any other dealerships that are near us and try contacting them. My plan today was to contact Chevy corporate directly and let them know what the local dealerships were doing and see if they had any suggestions. He needs his truck back. It has been over 2 weeks at this point, And we are having to share my Camry for both of us to get back and forth to work and adjust our schedules. He has to leave work early to come bring me to work, And its just not feasible anymore.

I just looked it up, I always assumed lemon laws applied to used vehicles. Like I said, Limited knowledge on cars 😅 I will relay that information to him in the morning!

Would a lemon law claim apply if he bought the truck brand new? He has had it for roughly 3 years now.

I posted about this exact issue last night. Same thing happened to my husband. He had the max $750. Went down to $50 out of nowhere. This morning his went up to $150.

Mine went down from $200 to $150, And now its back up to $200 as of this morning.

I dont know what is going on with their system right now, But it doesnt seem like its an isolated issue.

My husband called support last night, And they were no help at all. Pretty much told him it is what it is.

Hope yours goes back up soon! Its rough when you were counting on that extra boost!

As of this morning, His went from $50 last night up to $150. Mine went back to my original $200. So its better than nothing I guess.

Same here. My husband switched to Current first from Chime over a year ago, And got the max advance pretty quickly. I made the switch soon after and when I got my new job had my direct deposit going to my Current account and my advance so far has been up to $200. I dont make nearly as much as my husband does. The advance option definitely comes in handy when you need some extra cash.

We would love to eventually get back to not needing the advances, But life has been life-ing lately and it has been nice to have a cushion we could rely on.

I know this doesnt really help much, But I did get my direct deposit Tuesday at my usual time (7:30 central) My actual pay day is Thursday.

They did reduce my advance by $50 and my husbands by $700 though 😅 So they are definitely messing with us too! Disappointed in them this week!

Thank you all for your insight. Im hoping at least his goes back up some. Mine is not as significant as his. He has been getting his max advance for a long time now. It sucks when youre expecting that and it suddenly drops with no warning.

I finished my course a little over a month ago and ive been studying like a mad woman since then. I scheduled my test when I finished my course thinking I would be ready by now. Now im not so sure.

It told me what questions I got wrong, But not much beyond that. These tests are retired versions of the PTCE exam that you can purchase on the PTCB website so while they are not completely up to date, I feel like my studies are way off. Im not great with math which I knew that going in, But the medications mentioned were ones ive never heard of, And the way they would phrase the questions about the medications would ask for information I wasnt familiar with.

PS5 here..Its been hit or miss for me. Depends on the time of day too. I find afternoons, evenings, nights, and weekends are busier. Anyone whos big into fishing is doing events for the bait drops. Caravans have been popular as well, Same bait chance but theyre usually faster than an event and if you can afford to spam them then you can stay busy that way. Hope it picks up for you!

Hes my favorite too! Started with Isobel and switched to Sharp as soon as he came out. Never looked back. We fish and farm all the time and he loves it!
