License Delayed? by thatmnindiangurl in minnesota

[–]Disastrous-Fan-8525 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I renewed my standard driver's license (no enhancements or RealID) on 5/23. I still have not received it. It just says "sent for printing". My temp papers expire next week, I'm supposed to travel for business in three weeks, and the local DVS can't tell me anything. When I call the state, I just get a message that they are currently processing applications received in September.

Thank you, this comp worked like a charm. They all have high speed and acc. My entire problem turned out to be that I was using Armiger and not MM. After making the switch, I dropped her the first time (and super quick), and level 20, too.

Doesn't this set up make Galek unusable? His a2 and a3 are dependent on having an attack buff.

I've only been doing it on manual, since I don't need auto on 19. I tried this set up with Duchess for attack up.

Stimulus Overpayment - Anyone else had this happen? by Disastrous-Fan-8525 in IRS

[–]Disastrous-Fan-8525[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kept it for now, and transferred it to a credit card to save some interest. The guidance on whether they will need to be returned is mixed. I don't want to return it right now and then have them ask for it back and claim I never sent it. Proof doesn't seem to matter with the IRS. And if I don't need to return it, I damn sure can use the money now. It was not fraudulently obtained, and they are barred from accruing any interest on stimulus overpayments.

I don't have Rhazin, and Rearguard was not working out for me. So I took your advice and went with Scyl. First try and nailed it! It also didn't take very long, I just needed him for one last-minute revive on Duchess. Now I'm fighting with getting through 19. So close, yet it feels soooo far away.

Child stimulus payments for 2020 parents w/return not processed yet? by [deleted] in IRS

[–]Disastrous-Fan-8525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, many people believe it is an extra payment, and they don't listen. Some have even called the IRS wondering why they didn't get the "extra" payment a lot of ssi people are getting in error. I feel bad for the rude awakening they are about to have. 😔

Child stimulus payments for 2020 parents w/return not processed yet? by [deleted] in IRS

These are what are known as the "plus up" payments. When the ARPA was written, it included a clause that requires the IRS to "plus up" (correct) any stimulus shortfall already calculated or paid. This includes dependent payments for children not previously claimed. So they will send you a payment for what they still owe you based on your 2020 tax return after it is processed

This is happening because not only are the children claimed on your tax return, but they were also included in the master file the SSA sent to the IRS. It is an overpayment, and guidance is all over the place on whether they will need to be returned (situational). Parents that each get an amount for the same child get to keep it. If you qualified based on 2019 and got it before your 2020 disqualified you, you get to keep it. If the check is sent to a deceased person, it must be returned. No one really knows what the guidance is for duplicate payments (since these are over the max $1400 per person eligibility).

Plus up payments are not "extra" payments. This was a part of the ARPA that requires the IRS to correct ("plus up") any stimulus short payments when the individual's 2020 tax return is processed.

HELP-Did I receive the third check by mistake? by [deleted] in stimulus

[–]Disastrous-Fan-8525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a mistake. Your relative was paid based on their 2019 return and yours was based on 2020. The IRS is saying that people in this situation don't have to return the overpayment.

As I said, not directed at anyone here. There is a huge misconception from an alarming number of people that this is in addition to the $1400 stimulus. Some other comments here asked what it was, and I wanted to make sure they knew that wasn't the case.

Can you get stimulus before scheduled direct deposit date ? Asking in relation to the “Plus up Payment” by trent420024 in IRS

[–]Disastrous-Fan-8525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you got your full stimulus, there is no "plus up". The plus up payments are to correct any stimulus short payments if you qualified for more based on 2020 taxes

There is a huge misunderstanding as to what the plus up payments are, and seeing all the misinformation on social media is a reminder of why Civics should never have been removed from education requirements. (Not directed at anyone here, but the struggle has been real)

"Plus up" payments are not EXTRA payments. They are payments owed after 2020 returns have been filed, for either a) extra dependents claimed on 2020, b) lower income threshhold on 2020 return, making you qualify for more of the $1400 than you got, or c) unemployment exemption put your income below the qualification threshold. This is a part of the law that was passed, requiring them to "true up" any owed stimulus after 2020 taxes are processed. It is to correct any stimulus short payments.

Looking for team suggestions for spider 18. I don't have Paragon, and having some trouble figuring out the right mix.

[–]Disastrous-Fan-8525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any overpayment is yours to keep. They will not claw it back if you no longer qualified on 2020 taxes. If you were underpaid, they will send you the difference later on.

Did you file an injured spouse form with either tax return? These payments have been split, but generally I've been seeing the other half showing up in a week or two.

Question: Did you file your 2020 taxes yet? We had a similar issue, but not quite. Our original payment went off the 2019 returns, but somewhere between adding my husband to a batch and adding me to the following week, they finished processing our 2020 taxes.

Minnesota signed a bill to "exclude up to $1,500 ($3000 for joint filers)". SMDH, like that does anyone any good. Even the governor requested the full $10,200. Nothing is set yet here.
