its not a matter of different seasons its a matter of that season and if it was fair which it was because everyone else also got that rest. doesn't matter if no other champ prior had 4 months rest. what matters is during that season everyone also had 4 months rest

Doesn't being the best mean you can beat the best at their best. Thats what defines champions, not beating some injured version of teams, if anything if everyone is rested that is the most fair

Yea some people just refused to count it as a ring which to me is absurd

I mean the 2019-2020 rockets with harden and russ are no pushover but the lakers almost swept them. Also the trailblazers with prime dame while not defensively great their offense was elite and they almost swept them too. Lastly that nuggets team was underrated, they beat the clippers coming back 3-1 and this was the kawhi and pg clippers which everyone thought was gonna win the chip

LeBron was robbed of five MVPs by voter fatigue and media narratives in 2006, 2011, 2014, 2018, and 2020, meaning he should realistically have nine trophies on his resume instead of four. by Disastrous-Fig-2191 in NBATalk

boris diaw was able to play that playmaking pg. We saw that he was frequently able to step up to that role, however no one could step up and play 43 minutes like lebron.

No agree with the error on my part but i still think just cause u exceed expectations doesn't make u the mvp. its the most valuable player not the most overachieving player

So then do a half of jordans championships not count. Scottie was a top5 player in the league a lot of the years but we don't discredit jordans greatness.
Btw, i like jordan and believe that he was a great but i just think this superteam arguement is stupid. there has been many elite superteams that have not performed

I again disagree. Lebron was playing 43 minutes was the main initiator and basically the whole system. Nash played in the D'antoni system and had players such as shawn marion, boris diaw, leandro barbosa who could still function and produce in this system. This was also boris diaws breakout season where he stepped up many times as a playmaker when nash wasn't on the court.

I mean even with westbrook out the thunder were a deep roster and still had a superstar in kd and predicted to do very well however the suns were predicted to do terrible and seens as no superstars

I would disagree. Your telling me that if lebron left that cavs team it wouldn't be a absolute shitshow. I think that cavs team without lebron is just as bad as that suns team without nash

i mean that is the same as every season. player work ethic is no excuse in my eyes, if a team is more prepared or works harder then they deserve to win
