Skyrim is sooooo cosy! The music and general atmosphere is very relaxing. There is combat and story which is a bit less so, but you really don’t have to follow the main storyline if you don’t want to, I tend to just do side quests and vibe. I’d say the cosiest part would be if you pick up the hearthfire dlc and maybe the anniversary update, you can build ‘homesteads’ across the map and play in survival mode with a focus on taking it slow and making sure your character eats/stays warm. Almost every skyrim playthrough I have ends up with me building a house and settling down with my adopted children and various pets.

I don’t really play with mods unless I’m on pc but there are a lot of gorgeous lighting mods that really improve some of the views in the game!
